My son Gabriel is 4. he has been scareing my friends and I for weeks. We think he knows how to read tarot cards. Few of my friends can and don't do it around Gibby anymore, for when they do, he will tell you if it's going to be good reading or bad. It's really hard to explain, it's something that needs to be seen first hand. One day we put him to the test. We would shuffle the cards and he would start rambling numbers off so we would count the cards and pull them out. We shuffled them again, and he did the same thing, again but different numbers, they were the same cards as the first time, but this time he grabbed the cards for me and told me "grandma" had something to say. My friend read them and sure enough don't you know it was a message from my grandma. So my question is When is young to young? I couldn't believe at first for i thought tarot cards read the future, or told you something you already knew. Not give messages. [Eek!]

Luna, it sounds as though your child might have some innate psychic ability. That is wonderful, and should not be discouraged at all; but at the same time, I don't know if I would "work" with him on this. In other words, I would suggest maybe letting him develop his abilities at his own pace and only if he shows an interest in anything like this.
I've gotta say, at four, I'd rather see a little boy playing with trucks in the dirt! [Wink] It may well be that as he gets older, he will continue his interest and ability, but I don't think I would head him toward it at such a young age. He sounds like a very astute little guy. If he has some abilities, they will continue to show up through the years. Give him some time to just be a little kid! =)

Thank-you Carrie. I agree with you. We're going to let him bring it out on his own. The was just a one time deal, curiousity, know what I mean
hahahaha. [Embarrassed]

Interesting! I concur with Carrie on this. He may be showing some psychic ability now, and that's great - but in my opinion, I don't feel it's something you should be 'working' on at this age. If it's there now, it will be there later... and if he shows an interest in it when he's older, he'll be able to work more with the ability. I think the best thing you can do for him, as he grows up, is to encourage keeping an open-mind about things. [Wink]

Please don't discourage him from his ablities but don't let him play with the cards either. If he tells you he sees things talk to him and acknowledge that they have happened. Hang in there. keep him safe.
