Okay, guys here another story about the museum that I work at. This not my own story but one that I was told by some of the other staff that have been here longer then I have. So I can't say if this is a true story or not. Just wanted to see if anybody else has experienced this.
This happened to one of our Native American reenactors and a former employee. I will call them D and H. D and H were dating at the time and they were known to smoke a few joints here and there. I don't know if they had prior to this or not. Well on to the story, D and H were sitting in our backroom on H's lunch break. The metal door into the museum area was closed, so that visitors couldn't see into our junked up back work area. D and H were just sitting talking when they saw what they describe as a orb coming out of the metal door from the museum and it just floated across the room as if someone was walking through and right out the back door. Has anyone ever saw a orb like that? Or did they just smoke too many joints and they were imagining things. I've never seen anything remotely like they describe here at the museum. So what do you guys think?

With the drug use factored in, it is kinda hard to say for sure. Otherwise, I would absolutely believe it. Under Gianes' post on orbs, Kell and I both had some stories about people seeing orbs with the naked eye. I think it may be a relatively rare occurance, but I do think it is possible to see orbs.
That is one more active museum, Blackadder! That's gotta be a fascinating place to work.

I've seen orbs with the naked eye, but never have I seen one bouce along as if walking. They are always very fast in their movements.

As for the drug use - well, the chances of them both seeing the same thing at the same time (drug use or not) lends more credence to the story - unless they're hallucinating together. At the same time, the drug use during a sighting isn't a good thing.

Did they stop smoking after seeing them?? yes i have seen orbs in a bedroom. I think I have posted this before or I thought had. Anyway yes it is possible to see them with the naked eye.

Thanks everyone for the replies! I wasn't sure about this story since I wasn't there to see it myself. But since you guys have had a similiar experience with orbs then I will tend to believe it a little more. Thanks again!

Hello everyone, I'm a new member and I'm really glad I found this site. I have had really strange experiences all of my life so it's great to find a place to discuss them.

About 20 years ago I lived in a house that really creeped me out. We had lived there a few months and some pretty scary things had already happened that I will post later. On this night I was watching tv with my stepbrother. He went to bed even though I begged him to stay with me. I always felt like someone was watching me. He hadn't been gone very long before the outside dogs started howling and then the inside cat started hissing and jumped off the window sill. Then from that same spot an orb came through the window. It floated across the room, hit the floor and bounced into the tv screen. When the orb hit the tv screen, the tv turned off. From what I remember the orb had a blue tint to it. I have'nt told very many people about this and what few I have said it must have been a fireball. I can't say that I know a lot about fireballs but I assume that the weather conditions would need to be right, like a thunderstorm, and this was a clear night.

Any thoughts on what this might have been?

An interesting thread. A story of some relevance comes from a recent investigation that my research group carried out in a disused church in the Midlands area of the UK. Myself and our meduim were stood in a small vestibule area that was in total darkness awaiting our turn to see what we could pick up in the main church building. We were both very aware of strong presences within this area when we both witnessed a whiteish orb of light move across the door frame from left to right, the orb was approximately six inches in diameter.

Hello Neil,
I saw your post back and I was wondering at what speed did your orb seem to travel. The one I saw went about 25 feet in around 6 to 8 seconds. It almost seemed to shoot out from the window. I have'nt thought about this in a long time, but I'm once again living in a house where strange things are happening and it's kinda brought it all back. I would really like to learn more about all of this because I've just recently started reading and trying to figure out what is going on around me.

The distance the orb travelled was not very far, only about 4 feet, and it's speed was fast enough to be seen as it were. What struck us was the intensity of the light in total darkness.

Hi! I recently posted an inquiry about a black ball I have seen on two occasions. I wasn't smoking pot and was wide awake. I thought I was imagining it. No one I've spoken to has ever seen anything like this, so I was glad to read your post. Mine was like smoke but not completely transparent. It moved pretty slowly from side to side for quite a while and then just dissipated.

Hmm. The orbs I saw were little bright lights. kind of like a clear christmas tree light but small and moved around almost erratically.
I don't remember ever seeing orbs like you guys have.

I just had a discussion about orbs the other night with my friend. She described seeing one. Blue in color, about 5 inches across. Moved very fast and shattered a window that it passed through. The craziest thing is this orb appeared right after a train had been derailed right in front of the house and the power had gone out! It is also one of the many stories that I have about Hot Lake!
