When my younger sister was around 2 or 3 she began to claim that she had a dog, cat and rabbit. We had no pets at the time and so dimissed the idea as some imaginary friends. But she was insistent that they existed. She never called them by any paticular name just Dog, Cat and Rabbit. Well, myself and my mother decided to pursue the matter further so we asked my sister to descibe the animals to us. Without hesitation she described each one, and some of their personality traits. I thought nothing of it, just that she had a wild imagination. My mum however was stunned . What she had described was her childhood pet (a rabbit) who died when she was young, her grandmothers (my great grandmothers) dog and cat. There was no way my sister could have known this as she was so young and her description was too accurate to be coincidence. I was wondering if anyone else has seen (or experienced) a similar thing, and whether or not you think it was the spirits/ghosts of family pets.

Vanyel, that is a great story. I thought I saw one of my cats one time. It seemed more a residual thing than her actually being there. But there are times were I feel the presence of our dog Azzariah. It is so strong that I feel I can reach out and touch him.

Wow! That's a neat story. My cat comes back to visit now and then, both my husband and myself have seen him. I've also had dreams of him that were so real I could swear that he was there, and I'm pretty sure he was.
