I just found this photo while surfing around on some ghost sites. It looks to good to be true. I just want an opinon on wether the pair of hands in the right hand corner are real or fake.

Hi Blackadder! Pretty amzing picture isn't it? I've seen that one posted on some web-sites as a fake and then on others as legit...I can't figure it out. Although, I think I'd go with the 'orbs in motion' explanation.

Hi trinity, I'm from the pittsburgh area. But I was born and raised in the NE of the state in a little town called Hazleton.

I have a few friends that used to live in Pittsburgh. I've never heard of Hazleton...but small towns are always nice. Most of my family lives in Johnstown Pa. I don't know if you've ever heard of it or been there, but it's pretty close to Pittsburgh.

Uh... hard to say for certain with the pic being so small (can't evaluate it very well), but it doesn't strike me as real. Like you said, too good to be true. I don't buy the orbs in motion theory either - it just doesn't look the same as orbs in motion that I've seen. It looks more drawn in than anything.

The picture is kinda small. However, look at what the 'finger' is pointing to, near the lady's ankle, under the chair it looks like two eyes and a little mouth or nose. Like a kitten?
Also look at the glass cabinet where the flash of the camera lights it, move your eyes to the right, can any one see the mans face with the beard? or is it just me? I can make out a really long nose,bushy eyebrows and a big bushy beard.

I do see the face in the glass. I'm not sure if its just a reflection or the way the glass is made or ifs it a ghost. I really can't make out the cat thing though. One thing I did pick up on when looking at it again is that their is a line going through the top right corner towards the hands. Does anybody else see this? Could it be how it was faked or is it a crease in the photo?

I took a closer look at this photo last night, but didn't have the energy to post about it. =P

I see what your talking about, the kitty-looking thing, but I think that is just a pattern in the rug. Either that, or it has been added.

As for the man's face in the cabinet, I think what you're seeing there is the flash reflection off of the lacquered wood inside the cabinet.

There are two distinct lines running through the pic - one above and one below "the hands" - which leads me to believe this one is indeed a paste job. If you have a graphics program that you can zoom in (a lot), try it and you'll see the lines.
