Hmm.... my initial conclusions are that the first one could be a woven camera strap very close to the lens and the second one, while interesting, may be a double exposure or someone moving fast in front of the urn. Neat pic, though!

I have to agree with Kell on that. I'm always sceptical of pictures that resemble the first because to me it just looks like something infront of the lense, camera strap or otherwise. The second one is definitley a kewl pic. but I also have to agree that it's more likely then not double exposed. =)

Can a digital camera with a new card take a double exposure?

However, I would like to know the age of the urn and if that style shoe was made at the same time period as the urn. Doesn't it seem to be a fairly modern shoe? If it is, I wouldn't think that spirit would be attached to that urn.

Hi Connie! =)

Ya know, I'm not 100% sure about digital cameras and double exposures. I looked at that pic. again and realized that it did say they used a digital. I don't see how you could get a double exposure with one. I've never gotten one with mine. But...it would be easier to use something like photo shop to super impose one picture onto another or to mess around with the different settings on the camera, depending on what type digital they used.

the "sam"photo is fake in my eyes,my babyz mama has a digital camera and the possibilities are endless,it looks like a figure no doubt, but on that was erased with editing tools. The urn photo is nice, since i see very odd things on a daily basis ii must say this photo is a fake, why,if you truly look close enough you can see mirror type imaging below the shoe, and the shoe itself was a good try but its no older than my mom,48,and the urn is much older in my view, but, there is the possibility that the lady who wore the shoe died or had an experience at the urn or with the urn much more resent than the age of the urn, like maybe in the 60's or 70's and her presence could still be attatched to the urn.

That is a great Photo of the urn!! If you look at the lighting in the room, you can tell that should be a shadow. You can definatley tell there is something odd about the color of the foot as well. the shoe and leg are almost the same color!! Too cool of a find!!
