Yesterday, which was Tuesday I went and had a day nap, nothing unsual there. I was very very tired and had my first sleep paralyzed in years. It felt like someone had grabed my arm as it lay out of the bed. I tired to wake up to pull it away and the feeling left. The next thing, Im not sure if it was straight after, I heard very clearly a woman/girl say "we are here" in my ear. I woke up with a start expecting to see someone standing next to me. I didnt think much of it, putting it down to the very deep sleep I had, it was for a couple of hours. Also my parents, sister /husband and two kids are up for a visit so I assume one of them went out and came back yelling out they were back. Something all my family do.
I went about my business for the rest of the day, not thinking much about it, and did not go to bed that day till 11pm everyone else was still up as well. Around 11.30pm after reading in bed I decieded to turn the light off to go to sleep. The fear feeling was so bad I slapped the bedside lamp back on. I could 'feel' something in the room, the room 'felt' different. It frigtened me badly, so much so I said out loud I dont want to see whose there. It took a while for the feel to settle, but I was still afraid. For the first time in years, I slept with the light on all night. I kept waking up and seeing something flit about the room. It wasnt the lamp light or a moth.
Its 5 am now and I still feel a little unsettled in my room.
The only thing that is different to my environment is my sister/husband, 2 kids, and mother and father are here for a visit.

Do let me know what you think.

I have actually heard things in a light sleeping state that I don't normally hear completely awake. It seems to be a lucid sleep because though I'm mostly asleep I can still hear and am aware of what's going on around me.

I think that it's entirely possible that having company at your house may have stirred up some ghostly activity. I'm sorry that you were frightened though, that's no fun at all.

Gianes,

I'm sorry that was so frightening. =( It's strange that the bad feeling showed up again - and stayed with you while you were awake. Have you considered smudging? Maybe that would help some.

Thanks all for the feedback. A few days after I posted this thread, I heard an Uncle of mine went into hospital for a bypass. The Uncle is married to an Aunt who raised me as a kid, so Im pretty close to the family. The Uncle, btw, has a really icky feeling about him. The icky feel was very strong when I was a child and is still there as an Adult. He is a nice man, but that icky feeling is bad. I suspect what I felt in my room was that. The feel has gone and the room is back to normal.
