Wow, that was a pretty weird experience. I don't know about the fireball thing, I've heard of ball lightening(though I've never seen it), do you remember if there was a lot of static? I don't really know what the conditions would be like for that sort of thing. It sure does sound like an orb, given the fact that you felt somebody watching you and that your cat saw it too. Interesting experience! I've seen what I can only term as ball lightening when I was young (during a storm), and I've also seen several orbs with the naked eye over the years. In my experiences, they are very different. There are others here who have witnessed orbs moving through walls, etc.
Do you recall how big this orb was that came through the window? And how many feet did it have to travel through the room from the window to the TV? It's tough to really say which it was, but without there being a storm, I tend to think it may not be ball lightening. Whatever is was, it's curious that it went into the TV though!

Hey Guys,
In response to Kell's question about the orb, it traveled about 25 feet from window to tv and the orb itself was about 7 to 8 inches across. It traveled across the room pretty fast and I can remember seeing what looked to be a trail behind it. Oh, by the way, my grandmother used the word fireball for ball lightning and I guess I picked that word up too.
I'm trying to remember all of the details about some of the other things that happened in that house. I tend to go into too much detail and I don't want to bore everyone. I will narrow it down and post soon.

Wow, that's pretty big... knowing the size of it, I'd say it very well could have been ball lightening - or something to that effect. The ball lightening that I saw was the size of a basketball -- I've never seen an orb that big though!![[Laughing]](graemlins/lol.gif)
I think the tail you saw may have been created by the brightness of the ball.
