For years I have insisted that my ex's mom's home is haunted. She bought it from my father so I have been around there for years and have experienced things the entire time. Noises in rooms where there was nobody, a totally icky feeling that something was coming down the hall, lights turning themselves on and off. No one but me ever seemed to have this happen to them until last night!!! I went down today because my power was out because of high winds and I needed to take a shower. When I got down there my ex's mom was telling me that her power had just come back on and the night before her and her boyfriend had had an odd experience in the kitchen. Apparently they were sitting in the kitchen playing Scrabble about 2am (nightowls lol) they had candles and an oil lamp lit and they were sitting around the table. The kitchen window was also open. Apparently in the middle of their game a gust of wind came in the window circled around the table making the candles and oil lamp flicker and then it went back out the window from where it came. She asked her boyfriend if he felt that and he said he did. She said they simply sat and stared at each other for a long time after that. Today while we were talking about it Elizabeth came in teh kitchen and informed us that while the ghost may do silly stuff it us it doesn't ever bother her it's always nice. All this time my kid could have helped out my case for the ghost in that house!!!! I suppose on the bright side at least the ghostie is always nice to her

Good for you that you're finally vindicated. And it's good that they were not so staunch as non-believers that when they got some 'proof' they didn't just brush it off.
Try to help them be not so scared of it. Most people who suddenly realize their house is haunted get pretty shaken up. It's good that it's not a nasty one too.
