There's going to be a total lunar eclipse starting tomorrow evening! As best I can figure, it will start in earnest at 10:03 p.m. EDT (on May 15) or 8:03 p.m. MDT. I'm gonna try and catch it! [Rainbow Smiley]

I heard about this on the radio this morning. It's supposed to last from 9pm Eastern time to 2 am. I hope it's a clear night.

UGH! I was so looking forward to seeing it! It doesn't look like our weather is going to cooperate. We're expecting some pretty bad thunderstorms tonight. If anyone happens to get pictures of the eclipse tonight, would you mind posting? Pleeeeeaaaase? [Big Grin]

I hope everyone else has wonderful weather tonight with which to enjoy the beautiful eclipse!

I think I managed to get some good shots, but I forgot my camera at the house I was at, so I still need to have a better look at the pics when I download 'em! I'll post them as soon as I can (if they turned out as good as I'd hoped.)

Yay!!!!!!!!!!!! Kell, your the best!!!! [Big Grin]
About 8:30 last night, it looked as if it would clear up a little bit, and we could actually see the moon....but just as the eclipse was due to begin, don't ya know...the clouds rolled in and there was no visibility. I can't wait to see your pics, I'm sure they're amazing! [Wink]

wow I saw it and it was sooo cool!! didnt even know about it- duh! it was blood red here in northern florida. it must have started as I was leaving from work cuz it was coming up and still bright. then after getting home a while i thought it odd to be so dark on a full moon night and went to check things out and oh my!!!

in st.augustine we all- and I mean over a thousand fer sure- would gather at the old fort on the lawn to see an eclipse! it was a neat thing to do. all the oddest of the already oddballs out on the lawn together!! fun!!

the full moon was in scorpio so if things seemed a little intense yesturday that is why.

These were taken after the eclipse was finished - I thought they turned out pretty cool with the lens flare. [Big Grin]

Thanks for the pics Kell! I was so excited about the eclipse and then right before it was supposed to start the sky clouded up and it poured the rain. I was hoping for at least a little glimpse.
