i have had the nickname of panda fred since the day i was born. i recieved it because my older sister could not say amanda it came out panda everytime she tried to say it. fred comes from the fact that the doctors told my parents my twin sister and i were going to be boys. i was to be named fred melvin. what a horrible name for a kid. i have nearly 2000 panda figures and pictures and other type objects in storage in kentucky where i am origonally from. i also have a mural of pandas with the wwf logo in the corner painted on my wall(done by myself and my fiancee). he agreed to it only to keep me happy though so i painted a mural of a dragon on the wall in his office to make him happy. =P

Well, that is a neat story of how you got your nickname!! I love it =) I would like to, when my boyfriend and I move out, make my room into a bamboo hut theme with pandas on the wall and stuff. Your mural sounds really awesome. A few of the panda items I own include windchimes, posters, build-a-bear, several other stuffed animals pandas, figurines, a zippo, and also I have a 3 foot tall stuffed panda that is in a sitting position that my boyfriend won me from Six Flags Great America. I even adopted one of my ferrets because the type of markings she has are known as "panda" markings!!
