This has happened 3 times. While I am sleeping, I will have a dream of a demon or something trying to take over me. Now I do not go to church or pray or anything, but I will tell myself to say jesus name and I love jesus. Then as I keep saying this it becomes harder for me to say it and as i wake up, I am still saying jesus name but I cannot move as if something is holding me down and im trying to yell but my jaws feel as if there locking and nothing comes out. PLEASE someone tell me what this is.

Hi!
This has never happened to me personally, but it happened to my ex right in front of me.
We were both in bed, he was sleeping and I was reading, his eyes opened and he was just froze there. I could see fear in his eyes.
He was breathing, I could see his chest moving, but he said that he couldn't breathe something was on his chest.
I usually sense anything paranormal and I didn't feel anything at the time this happened. It had to be a manifestation in his own mind.
He was pretty scared about it!

Yes, what you experienced was sleep paralysis. I get it on occasion. Now that I know what it is, it doesn't frighten me anymore but sometimes I'll think I see something in the room with me when it happens, and that part scares me.

I have never heard of sleep paralysis, but the first thing I thought of when you mentioned the feeling of being taken over by a demon was an incubus. An incubus is a demon that rapes women in their sleep. I am not sure if this is what is happening, but it is just an idea I thought I would throw out there. Has anyone else know anything or heard of an experience with an incubus? [Eek!]

This may sound a little far fetched but you stopped feeling depressed/didn't need to perform the love spells? Maybe your Guides stepped in and did something. I know I used to have times where I would get depressed or upset about where my life was going when suddenly it would feel almost like someone was working in my head, without the pain. Within a very short while I would feel very good about what was happening in my life as well as have a game plan for how to deal with it. I have since discovered that they were doing something called 'psychic surgery' in order to help me out of my funk.

I've experienced sleep paralysis on several occasions. When I was a child I had a very scary bout with it. I remember having to say Jesus name as well to break "the spell". Some schools of thought believe that is what an Icubus or Sucubus is all about....just simple sleep paralysis. Actually you can extend it even further. You have to think about what frame of mind civilization is in at any given time. At the time of Incubus attacks mankinds belief system revolved around the Church. Hence, demons came at you. Back in the 30's and 40's there was a rash of sightings of the Mad Gasser. You would see him in your room at night but you were paralyzed. He would even do things to your body while you were in this state. An Incubus in disguise? Sounds very similiar! Now think about when we entered the space age. Aliens come and visit us...paralyze us...and do nasty things to our bodies! It sounds like the same thing. We just make new names for it. Why do demons, gassers, and aliens like to focus on our sexuality? Why do we focus on our sexuality in our subconcious? Just some thoughts.

Yeah, that sounds like sleep paralysis. I've experienced it a number of times myself and I agree that it is quite scary.

I also feel like someone or something has landed on top of me and weighs me down and often I'll have this "sizzling" sensation in my head.
