Has anyone ever visited a site of a mysterious creature such as Loch Ness?

I did so during a trip to Great Britain in 1987. No, didn't see Nessie, but the area was quite scenic though damp and cloudy.

I would like to have taken a boat ride.

Nope, I haven't, but wouldn't mind doing so sometime. There may be some others here who've been though!
