A couple of nights ago I got a good scare. I was sleeping upstairs with my husband when I awoke to see a blond haired woman in my room. I asked who she was and then she started coming toward me reaching forward and I backed up so she couldn't touch me. I backed up so fast I rammed into Marvin a good hit. He immedietly awoke and wanted to know who I was talking to. I saw her head towards the closet and dissapear. He didn't see her. I am still a little unsettled about it, but I found my Bible which was buried by stuff on my dresser and I made sure it was open to psalm 101 and I haven't had any other problems the last two nights. Its a good thing I am not too sore with my inscision because I moved pretty quick for being on a water bed. That room must have a vortex in it or a portal cause I have way to many visitors when I sleep in there. Maybe that is why I usually sleep on the couch downstairs. I don't seem to have as many problems there.

One thing I found that helps with ghosts is beleive it or not, windchimes. I use the ones with a sharp A tone to them.
Hubby thinks I am crazy, but........
I know that a baby was born in this house and that the house next door burned down to the ground. The family was gone, luckily. But a young man whose parents owned the home ended up working for me. They never did find out what had started the fire.
Also, in this house that I live in, a young boy was burned accidently by his father squirting lighter fluid into a wood burning stove and hitting the child in his path and the boy was burned severely. Weird but true, this young man also worked for me for a short time. He was never accepted because of his scars and I heard that he committed suicide in another state.
In my master bedroom, you can sometimes hear a baby crying. I get such an uncomfortable feeling in my family room, currently we only use it for storage.
I have been thinking about smudging the house, right now I just use my chimes.
I think that when a home is for sale, a history of the house might be a good idea!
Yesterday I had a bird in the house, and I don't even want to think how it got in!

I'm glad your ok, Mary. What a weird incident! Didn't something very similar happen to you with a Civil War soldier? I'm wondering if the two could somehow be connected. Could you tell what she was wearing?
Did you get any feelings from her? Was she coming to you in a menacing way, or maybe to comfort and protect, knowing that you just had surgery?
I don't think I would have slept too well after that encounter!

Yeesh, Mary! That is a bit unnerving! How many visitors have you 'met' in there? I'm curious too, about the manner in which she came toward you. Glad you didn't hurt yourself!

That would be pretty scary, Mary!! I wonder if her spirit has been around for a while, or if she followed you home from the hospital? It is quite possible that she latched onto you while you were at the hospital, and decided to go home with you. It sure makes ya wonder....

I was curious about what your visitor was wearing also. Could be related to your other spirit or could be a regular checking out the new you.

What is it with ghost and closets? I understand portals but do spirits have to be so literal minded?

I talked to Mary about this and she's still stumped expecially since this lady did not give her a protective vibe. She did tell me that her nephew had seen a blond lady upstairs once before when he was small. Also, that house has to have some history if only because previous occupants sold drugs there - I'm curious if some of the previous customers don't pay a visit from time to time.

Seems people are afraid of ghosts. Why? Just because you die, does not make you some sort of scarey being. I'm thinking the lady stepped toward you simply because you tried to talk to her. She was probably trying to just communicate with you. No doubt she has some sort of personal concerns.

I am less afraid of ghosts now, as an email friend, Angela, started her own small group so that we could talk about her daily experiences with ghosts. She has had experiences with both bad & good ghosts, but has a few "friends" who choose to stay in her home. She has seen spirits since she was very young. She said that her friends are very protective of her. Another lady, Cari, in Las Vegas also has ghost friends who live with her. She also has been able to experience them since young. The group is at Yahoo Groups and is called Ghost Talk. Angela has not posted for several weeks now due to helping her husband start a new business, but I am also feeling like she has some other things happening in her personal life. So, I am anxious to get back talking to her. Mainly, I have been talking to her ghosts through her and asking them questions. =)
