I can only think of one thing that might be effected by magnets, and that would be the iron in our blood. The amount is so small, compared to body size, I really am not sure if that might effect a person's physical body to a noticeable degree or not. I have tried them for pain, and like Kell, I noticed little or no result. As for long life... I think that there are many factors that influence a person's longevity, the first being your genetic background. You will get certain strengths and weaknesses from your heredity, some you might be able to change somewhat with diet and lifestyle. As for living a long life, and trying to help ourselves to do this, I think the secret lies in diet and exercise. That is the bottom line, and a great deal of research into many facets of these two things indicates that it would probably do a person more good than any 'gee whiz' quick fix remedy for a long term problem. No pain, no gain, as they say! LOL =)
