Sorry I've been absent for so long, everyone. I tend to get distracted by my husband. But then something so noteworthy happens that I have to spring to my computer and type it up. So here it is:

When I was younger...about 11, I guess...my cousin and I used to see strange things in my house, especially in the piano room. There would often be an image of a man standing by the window and items we carefully arranged would get tossed about the room.
We called him Frank. No realy reason. It just seemed to fit. Well, Frank become a sort of friend over the years. He played around the house until I was about 17 years old. His favorite game was to put things in the shower with me, like towels or bottles of lotion from the closet. It was scary but forgiveable....more annoying than anything.
I began to talk to Frank sometimes. He never answered me, but I felt like he was listening. (You're forgiven if you don't believe any of this. I understand.)
Anyway, a few days ago, after no sign of Frank for almost 4 years, I was in the piano room...which is now the computer room. I was sitting around online, talking to a friend, and I leaned back to play with my cockatiel TickTock. While I was looking at the bird, I heard someone whistle behind me. I turned, but there was no one there. I shrugged it off as my imagination and continued with what I was doing.
Well, today, I was in the room next to this one, watching TV, and all of the sudden TickTock began squawking and flapping about his cage. I came in to see what my cats were up to THIS time, but they weren't there. They were in the basement with my mom. So, I opened to door to TickTock's cage an he flew right at me, latching onto my shirt with his feet. He was panting and still flapping his wings. I petted him and put him back in the cage after he calmed down.
After going back to my TV show, I heard another noise in the other room. So I went back in and found a box of odds and ends I keep on a table by the computer thrown onto the floor.
Now, I don't know if there is some logical explanation to all of this, but I would like to believe that Frank came home.

Does anyone else have a house ghost?

Hi JadeFishy! Good to see you again. =)

Wow, it sure seems that maybe Frank is back! I wonder if it is Frank or someone else? Hmm. You said you talk to Frank from time to time - have you done so recently (prior to these newest events)? Maybe this is his way of letting you know he's been listening. [Wink]

Yes, we have house guests. Sometimes we wonder if there isn't a portal in this place. They seem to come and go, but activity has been taking place for years. There are many stories, but there is one that likes to tap us on the back or pull clothing while we sit at the computers. [Eek Smile]

Kell

P.S. I'll add your story to our Ghost Stories page on the SpiritKeep website.

Could be Frank is back. Or like Kell said it could be someone else. Or maybe there was always more that one there.

Sometimes ghosties go quiet for a while. Sometimes years.
As I see it and so far as I have experienced and learned is that ghosties are people. Keep to themselves sometimes. Act annoying sometimes. Mean sometimes. Nice sometimes. Depending on the person. Yet the fact that they are still around means that there is an issue with the person so they are more likely to be emotional about something. I believe that after we pass on we keep our emotional bodies with us. Especially if we hang around in this world.

Since I've moved into my new house I've only experienced a few instance of ghostly activity. But it is mostly queit. And I don't sense anyone. I'm generally good an sensing presences and generally pretty good with clairaudience. I've heard someone speak to me at my new house and got an impression of her. But I don't understand why it's a her (previous owners lived there for over 50 years and the original owners were a couple that lived there for only a couple of years, none fit the impression I got). But 99.9% of the time I get nothing. Completely different than my last place.

Well, whoever it is, they're up to their tricks some more! I was out in the kitchen last night, getting a snack after my day in the mountains, and I got a drink out, set it on the counter, and went to the cabinet for food. I grabbed a cup of ramen noodles, and set that on the counter. But the drink was then on the stove. And a picture of me when I was about 13 was on the counter. I had totally forgotten about that picture, but there it was. It was weird, but not frightening, so I picked up my food and drink and went back to my room. As long as I don't have a mean ghost, I'm alright with the tricks. [Laughing]

Wow! That would be pretty kewl if it was indeed Frank. Maybe he put that picture of you when you were 13 on the counter to let you know it was him. After all, wasn't he most noticebly present during that time period?

I have to say, I don't think we have any ghosts in our house. There are times that I wonder. Not really because of anything that happens, but there are times when our dogs will act a little funny. I don't think it's anything or anyone that's attached to the house though. Maybe just someone passing through?
