Hi everyone,

I was just looking for any sort of meanings any of you could get out of this dream. I know I make too much out of things like this, lol.

In this dream, I was sitting on my bed and knew, absolutely knew, that someone was sitting on the edge of the bed nearest the wall. Only problem was, I couldn't see him. The odd part was, it really felt like someone was actually there. It was really strong--like someone's actually in the room with me. It felt so real and I could actually see my blanket on the bed--the color of it, the texture, all of that. In the dream, I think to myself, "Oh, it must be (name of complete stranger who died a long time ago and who I never met but had heard of)." I was so happy when I thought that.

And that's it. Any thoughts?

That was a pretty neat dream. Do you feel that you were communicating with a spirit? Was this a lucid dream? You seem to remember a good bit of the dream and that leads me to think that it was probably a lucid dream. Was the stranger a family member that you had never met or a previous occupant of the house? You haven't mentioned specific symbols that we could look up so it would be difficult to try and help you interpret your dream but I think that the fact you were happy in it means that you don't have to worry much about it.

Hi Renee,
This wasn't a relative or a previous occupant. I guess I was just curious if lots of people have that feeling of somebody actually being in the dream with them. Just wanted to see if I was normal, lol. Thanks for the input!

Yup, I think it's pretty normal. Usually when that happens to me it's someone like Mel Gibson, but that's a different type of dream. [Laughing]
