I received this email from Marcie:

hi, this is marcie. sorry i couldn't figure out the login. not good at this. please tell me what you think of these dreams.
ever since these dreams i have a fear of windows, like someones watching me.
ok first one { i'll summerize}when i was in 4th grade i was in the bedroom facing the road and i dreampt that a homeless man came to my window and watched me sleep all night. the next dream was when i was in jr high, different house, different state. i dreampt that my whole family was in the driveway talking to our neighbor and i was the only one in the house and was fast a sleep and all of a sudden there was a tall skinny guy and a short fat guy standing out side my bedroom window, the fat short guy had a flame thrower and the tall skinny guy had an old tommmy gun, both shooting through my window, i crouched below the window and was screaming for my family and no-one heard me. last dream; it was storming out and i looked out side my bedroom window and when the lightning flashed i saw a man in a white tee shirt, jeans, white sneakers, sitting down, back against the clothes line and feet extended in front of him, the scariest part was every time the lightning flashed the man appeared standing and closer than right before i woke uphis face was right next to the window. i have been so scared of any window since,.
i have been told that more than one dream on a very similar subject, somethings trying to tell you something. can you or any one you know can help me? please email me back and let me know. thank you so much for your time.....marcie

Hi Marcie,

VERY IMPORTANT Talk to your family about your dream and how you feel (afraid...maybe ignored or unloved). Tell them that you may be afraid of the dream in a literal sense...that there is "something outside my window". Just having them know that you are afraid of this will help put your mind at ease.

However:

1. If your bed is placed near a window, move it.

2. I do not have a dictionary of dreams, but this is what I feel is going on.

I don't think in your life the window is literal. It is showing you what you are afraid of which is not having your family to protect you either physically or emotionally.

You need something to bolster you self-esteem, but not piano or dance lessons.

Try something like Karate or Tae-Kwon-Do.

3. Premonition dreams are different for me. When I wake up, I have this overpowering feeling that I have to do or tell someone something which is very specific and very important. It is almost like someone has written me a "to do" list while I was sleeping ;->

Hi Marcie,

If you've lost your password you can request it from the board at the same place you login at.

My take on the dream is that a window is a vulnerable place for us, especially at night. Dreaming about some one outside your window may represent something that is particularly stressfull or frightening in your life and your own feeling of helplessness. The fact that your family couldn't hear you may mean that not only do you feel helpless but also alone. I get the feeling that this is the way your built up anxiety express's itself.

I don't know you and I'm not psychic but I am someone who has had a few anxiety dreams herself. I don't know if any of this is accurate for you, you will need to be the one to pick the correct interpretation but I hope that it helps some.
