My neighbor came over to barrow something while I was outside something strange happened.I went in the house to get her stuff and my living room wall had been knocked out. Then I went into the kitchen and the buner on the stove was on and an empty pan was burning on it.Then something knocked on the ceiling.I don't know what is going on unless it is because today is my granddaughter's thirteenth birthday. The wall looks like someone took a pry bar to it. OMG, Bonnie!! [Shocked] What the heck could have happened!? Are you sure no one in the house left a pan on the stove by accident? I'm not sure what to make of the pry-barred wall. eep!

Have things been going alright since this morning? If all of that was ghostly activity, it seems a rather severe (and dangerous!) way to make oneself known on a special day for a loved one (if it was a relative). [Nerdily Unsure]

Does your Granddaughter live with you. Thirteen is a major turning point in the development of a young girl, and this type of development is closely linked with poltergeist activity. Whether poltergeists are real spirits or energy sent out from a person, it has a lot to do with children, especially young girls, at different stages of development. Two, three, seven, ten, thirteen, eighteen...these are all emotional landmarks that spark the activity...

No one had been the kitchen yet when I found the pan.I found the wall was from the kids slamming my front door{we think].It all started when Paig got up she even the wall wasn't like that.I don't know what to think.I know the wall was not like thatso I'm beside myself if it is because of paig's birthday how long will this last.Things have been quiet but Paig has been gone sence yesterday. She does live with me. Omg Bonnie! I wouldn't know what to think! At least you may know why the wall was knocked out. But even then it sounds like you may still have doubts with that. (So would I if Paig said that the wall wasn't like that when she got up)

You had said that it could be from the kids slamming the door....would it be a possibility that maybe they were playing in that room and something happened and they didn't want to admit to doing it? Just an idea. (I know my brothers and I have had our fair share of damaging furniture and just breaking things in general around the house from rough housing)

As far as the pan on the stove....that is so dangerous! I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you that THAT was a one time deal and won't be happening anymore.

I'm glad that things have quieted down....but def. keep us posted on anything else that happens!

[Eek!] Wow sounds like something is going on there paranormal or not. But I have also heard that when kids hit the 13 mark it can be manifested in different ways. Good luck and I hope you find out what's going on.

My youngest granddaugther has been spooked twice since Paig's birthday. The first time she saw a figure in the tv room. The second time was last night she went to make a sandwich and she said she was pushed into the fridge door but the door wasn't open.In other words she hit something solid that wasn't there. She will be nine in September. She has more of a tie to this house than any of us she has been here since she was born.
