Ooh, sounds like fun! I loved creative writing in school. We're traveling to a remote part of Maine this weekend to stay at a place rented by a friend of my wife, maybe it's just spooky enough... and if she lets me bring my laptop with me, I could have some fun!!

Maybe I'll give it a whirl.

I know what you mean about taking your laptop, Curt stops me from taking mine almost anywhere.
Last time I was in the hospital, I managed to keep it from the nurses, but when they found it they gave it to Curt to send home? LOL

CarolAnne, it says at least 250 words, not counting the starter part. BTW, the starter part contains 827 words and fills 2 pages in Word with default margins and font, so you don't have to write a whole lot more to finish the story--about half a page.

This is going to be fun!!

Heather said I could bring the laptop. I figure, since I won't have internet access up there, I still get a break from what I usually use the laptop for--surfing and email. Doing some creative writing will be a diversion even if I'm still using a computer.

It appears AAG's bandwidth has been exceeded for this month and I finished my story =( Guess I'll have to wait until the site comes up again in October to submit it... dang, dang, dang...

Yeah I have to get mine submitted too. I finished it a couple weeks ago but then I've taken some time away from it so I can re-read it fresh and see if it's still "good". Once it passes that test, I'll send it off!

Actualy, if Kell or someone could post the email address here, we could submit before AAG comes back online. It was a Yahoo address if I recall correctly...
