i was sleeping last night about 8:00 p.m. and someone woke me up by tapping on my foot. i moved my foot and it stopped for a minute but then they started tapping as if they were poking me to get up thats when i sat up and turned on the light and there was nobody there. its been pretty quiet here but no i guess they are starting to come out to play

My question to you is what else has happened? Myself i dont remember reading a post about beings or what have you tryen to get you attention..And another question is, have they been mean, playful, or want you to know''your not alone'? When things like this occure to feel threatened..Or at ease???? My spirits i had to deal with almost 10 years ago, ill always believe ''they were They always wanted to scare myself a nd my 2 small children...Never the less please let us know.
Maybe if you can somtime, refresh my memory on this subject..

Damien, it definitely sounds like 'someone' is trying to get your attention. You mentioned that things have been pretty quiet there, so I'm assuming that you've had other experiences. I'd love to hear about some of them! =)

I agree with Trin, it does sound like someone was trying to get your attention. =) I'd like to hear more about what's been going on too!

ok where do i start? well to answer the question if they are friendly or malevolent they are a little bit of both but for the past few years they have been just going about their business.
when i was little i slept in the spare room and didnt like it at all because i ust to hear voices i would hear banging and then they started to really mess with me they started to come up and for lack of a better explaination hiss realling loud right in my ear. i would go across the hall to my parents room but they would put me back to bed because they thought i was just dreaming then one night it happened where it freaked me out so bad i was crying. so i went into my parents room again this time my dad laid down with me. about 20 minutes later they did it to him!!! i never slept in that room again and to this day at 22 years old i wont go in that room for any long period of time. then i ust to see the ghost of the little boy who ust to live here before us. my grandfather appeared to me in my room at 3:00 in the morning one night when i was around 10 yrs old he died before i was born. he ust to smoke a pipe and every now and then you will smell pipe smoke in the house the only one who smokes is me but i smoke cigarettes outside only! the tv in the kitchen ust to come on by itself in the middle of the night full blast, one night my dad was sleeping in his office around three in the morning when he was woken up by the smell of apple pie being baked in the kitchen when he walked out there the smell grew much stronger and out back of our house we have a dusk till dawn light that was shineing through and lighting up the kitchen well the kitchen was shrouded in a thick fog and when he turned on the kitchen light the smell and the fog dissapeared!!!
every now and then i see the tail end of a long white dress go around the corner in my dinig room in fact my buddy mike has seen it also. one night i was having band practice in my basement when i felt a slight breeze blow past me and i have silk tapestries hung up and they were swaying we stopped playing and talked about it and went outside to smoke a cigarette my singer who is a mexican turned white as a sheet!!! he said that when he was going up the stairs it felt like someone jumped on his back!!!! he litterally looked like he had the flu 10 times over when we went back down we were talking and i saw a pair of translucent black pants walk past my silk tapestries which were moving like someone walked past them and went through them. then on the way back up my buddy mike saw i a reflection the pants sitting in a chair at the back of the room! i never saw anyone move so fast he refused to go back in the house for a few days. then the last time i got freaked out i was down there playing guitar when i heard a female voice singing harmony with what i was playing, i stopped figuring it was my imagination and continued playing then it happened again and i was out!! i didnt even shut off the light i just went upstairs and didnt go back down for a week! i also have audio of footsteps coming down my stairs in the middle of the night also i have audio of something moaning thats the best i can describe it and i have audio of other things like banging etc... that is just some of the things that has happened to me. but my wrists are starting to hurt.

Whoa! You most certainly have had some experiences! Some that would knock the socks off of anyone. Having the feeling like someone had just jumped on my back would send me through the roof!


Have you done any research on your house to see who some of your ghosties might be?

well i know who some of them are like every now and then my grandfather stops in, i also saw my grandmother a few months after she died so did my mom. and the boy who lived in my house before me ust to peek around corners at me, in fact the night all that stuff was going down in my basement he did the same thing to our bass player but the funny thing is i never told him the stories about him! but the guy with the black pants i have no idea who that is we think it is someone attached to my dad because one night my dad was coming home from work and he saw a pair of black pants run across the road in front of his truck and after that he started coming around both my parents have seen it on back to back nights just before my neice was born in 1991 and then i saw him 2 years ago in the basement he dosent bother us so were fine with him being here in fact i started calling him "levi" after the jeans because thats all you see of him. also i forgot about another thing that happened about 6 years ago i was walking to my kitchen when i heard a constant banging so i followed the noise into the laundry room where the washer was bouncing like it wasnt balanced i thought it was funny, so i sat on top you know to go for a ride after i got bored i went upstairs to tell my mom to check out her washer it was going crazy so we went downstairs to check it and it had stopped. she thought i was nuts because it wasnt moving and the **** thing wasnt even on the power was off and she said that she wasnt doing laundry that day and no one else was either!!!! also we would always hear footsteps and she shadows of people on the walls etc... and yeah as far as harry goes (the singer of the band) he was scared sh*tless i mean he is a mexican but he looked like an albino

Wow!! Damien, you certainly have had some experiences. That is just bizarre. I had some similar things happen in one place I lived -- it spooked a few visitors too!
Is this an older home? You might want to do some research at your local library regarding any families who lived there previously. If it is relatively new home, you might find some land records stating who was there prior to it being built.
Keep us updated! Sounds like an interesting place.

WoW! That definetly is some freaky stuff! Be sure to keep us updated on anything else that happens.

oh dont worry ill keep you guys updated. and it is a fairly new house built in the early 1970's we are the second family to live in the house.

Wow, Damien - sounds like a rather active house! Did things ever settle down for a bit, then start back up - or is it fairly constant?

it will have its "dry" periods but we usually hear banging and footsteps fairly constant its to the point where we dont even pay attention.

they're back again and are really starting to irritate me because a few weeks ago i was going upstairs to get my digital recorder and microphone (because i was going out to try and get some evps) when my recorder and microphone was nowhere to be found and i knew exactly where i left them cause i saw them the day before and had not touched them neither did anyone else this pissed me off because this was the first time in a long time i could go out to cemetaries (the weather sucks lately) so i asked them to please return it the next day it shows up next to my mirror without the mike which was attached it is still M.I.A. now they took my melatonin which is an herbal sleep pill because i work 3rd shift and go to school full time its hard for me to sleep. i always keep it right next to my bed in fact i used it the day before last i figured it might have rolled off of my nightstand but it is nowhere to be found. i asked for them to return it so we will see if they do. i hope they do because it is starting to get real aggrivating.

You need to talk to Peg, they're taking her
stuff too. The apple pie smell would have
freaked me out, that is strange. In my sisters
old house in Calif, I only spent the night there
once, I smelled pipe tobacco, really strong in the
middle of the night. No one there smoked.
It would be really freaky to have something
jump on your back, I dont think I would have
gone back to your house at all!
I dont have any advise for you, sorry, but ask
for your stuff back nicely, maybe make a trade
with them. Like your microphone for this nice
red ball. see what happens.

I agree with Doreen - I think the best thing you can do is ask for them to return your stuff. Ask nicely.
