This is my fault, but over the last few years I have really made Curt open his mind to alot of things, mostly cause weird things happen around me. LOL
Today, and Curt is a very intelligent, earthly man, seen a shadow person, not once but 5 times.
I set him up to read about them, he said he doesn't agree with what he read.
I told him that reading up on it and then coming to an answer with his own spirituality is the answer.
I had seen someone a while back post about shadow people and I cannot find it. I thought maybe someone here could give him some insight of their own.
And today, he was helping me take pic's all around the house due to the increased activity going on lately. He has heard it and I think he is opening his mind up personally. He beleives but wanted nothing to do with the supernatural after he and his brothers had a seance once trying to contact their brother that had passed and according to them had some success in doing so and it scared them all and they have stayed away from all of it now.
Curt seen the shadow person go down the hall and into our bedroom, one time right after another in succession.
If anyone has something they can add to this, for Curt........I will love you!
Curt likes the site and I am going to sign him up with his own ID when he figures out a nick LOL!

Hmm... okay, I'm not sure where the problem lies. Did he see these things and doesn't want to believe they are shadow people, or ??

There is no way to make someone believe. One should come to this conclusion on their own, through their own experiences, research, etc. All you can do is present the information to help with this and he will have to make his own decision. If he has a particular question, we may be able to help. =)

Ya know, I hadn't thought that I had ever witnessed a Shadow person, but lately I have been doing double takes thinking that I saw something out of the corner of my eye. Is that what it could be?

I have to agree with Kell, you can't make someone believe. Although it sounds like you gave him some good advice Peg in telling him to do some research and to come up with his own conclusion.

Sounds to me like he has closed his own mind for quite sometime due to his experience. I'm guessing that not only did having a paranormal experience scare him, but having one with his deceased brother must have really sent him and his other brothers running for the hills! I'm glad that he's starting to open up to the possibilty again.

Let us know if anything else happens, and if you caught anything in those photos!

Curt is a highly intelligent man, is an executive, level-headed, nothing exsists if you can't see it or touch it. I am not trying to make him sound shallow, he is also fun and a very loving and supportive person as well.
Until he met me he didn't beleive in alot of things, supernatural to everyday things. I sort of changed him over the years to be more open and accpeting.
So, Saturday morning he was getting a kick out of helping me take pic's of the house. We only got one odd light, he debunked, I am not so sure yet.
But we did it together and he even said he would go with me to some old cemetery's next weekend.
What he seen, I have no doubt he seen. I have bookmarked alot of pages for him to read and some we read together.
I at first tried explaining the shadow people and Curt keeps thinking that this must have been a religous experience. And I told Curt, "well that is where your own spirituality comes in as to what you beleive." He didn't understand that. Can these shadow people be that many different things? And I told him they could mean many different things to many people, it depends on what you beleive. So, he's decided he has had a religous experience. I don't agree totally and I am a religous person actually.
What scares me is I am not a professional, although I have managed my own abilities in my life, he's really new!
I tried to find it on here because I thought he could relate more to a true experience from friends here, that it happens?
And, our house has been quite active of late. But nothing that alarms me in the least.
Curt did get mad at me though when I asked him if he followed it after seeing it so many times going in the same direction? He didn't think that was funny, he sat right here in front of the computer until I got home, I had just called and I was on my way.
Basically, I am scared at how he's taking this. I don't feel at all he needs to be scared and I have told him that. If something were wrong here I would pick it up. I know, I am rambling?
So basically what I figured is if I started a topic on the Shadow People, if I got some responses he could read and see how many people have seen them.
What do you think? Good idea or no? I am still quite amazed he seen this to begin with. He said I am rubbing off on him! LOL

Trin, yes, those dark movements you see out of the corner of your eye that make you look again - in most cases, those are shadow ghosts. =)

Peg, I'm sorry that Curt seems a little upset by what he saw. While I'm sure he was shocked to see it, tell him there is no need to be scared. In my mind, and I am not a scientist or anything, but what I have learned - is that shadow ghosts are really no different than any other type of ghost. There are several ways for a ghost to manifest, as I'm sure you already know. Shadow form is just another... vs. orbs, ecto/mist, etc. Sure, some are michevious, but other types of ghosts can be as well. Just because they are dark or grey in color does not make it bad or evil in nature. I see both dark and white fliting about here at times. They are fast and it would seem that they don't like to be noticed, but just the same, unless there is evidence saying otherwise, there shouldn't be any great concern.

I hope that helps him sort this out a little bit. I have a picture of a shadow ghost that was taken in our living room a couple years ago. I'll try to get it put up for Curt to see, if he likes.

Sure, feel free to make a post about how many people have seen shadow ghosts. You could make a poll for it, if you like!

Yeah, he seems alright today LOL! Sadly the stress of work makes alot of things disappear for moments or two. But.........how did he see it?
Activity has picked up in the house, last night something was pelting the living room window. ( I have tried to post this several times today and I am trying to write it meaningfully) Gabby and I were on the computer in my office so we went out to see what was going on. Noises from the kitchen, like stuff crashing, the window and things sounding like they were dropping all over but nothing was out of place. LOL We stood there and kept hearing it but seeing nothing.
I noticed Gabby was scared and started making all kinds of excuses to the house is settling and a massive swarm of grasshoppers must be jumping at the window? I don't think she bought alot of it, she wants to go home but they don't have a sitter for her until Thursday. Gab ain't happy!
I put her to bed with grandpa and I sat in here thinking, the sounds trailed off and then quit.
So, I climbed into be with Curt and Gabby and I told her this is just between us.
Got up this morning and it started again, but not quite so feverishly and I told it to stop, I hadn't had any sleep making sure you didn't bother my family. I also told it I was getting irrated, I was so tired and grumpy this morning.
I have experienced this phenom but not in this house, not ever.
I did find more pic's and stories for Curt and Kell that would be really nice if you could post it or even mail it to me so he can see.......happens to the best of us!
And you know, Curt and I have been married for 15 years, together for 17 of them. He said I rubbed off on him, maybe I did.
Whoever this is, is not mean. I feel prankster and this person thinks its funny. I still refer to spirits as persons because they still have their personalities.
Other things have happened lately, getting my feet tapped while laying in bed awake. Tapping my shoulder while in bed. And he/she really seems to want me out of bed. I am not scared, as I said been here before as long as it doesn't escalate into more and right now I have no feeling it will.
Sadly for Curt, I personally couldn't remember my first encounter so I tried to understand his excitement and fear kind of mixed together.
I think he will be alright. It is going to be interesting if he continues to see things. I don't think I have ever read anything about a person developing abilities by association with others that do? Oh heck, I am just going with it but if it starts tonite me and whoever this is needs to have a little talk!
And this all just started this week. Odd for it to just come up on me like this without feeling something beforehand and I have no reading as to who this might be.

Wow, I never knew there were such things as Shadow Ghosts! That's soooo cool. All this time, I have had many more experiences with ghosts than I thought... This is cool! Thanks for posting about this Peg...and I hope hubby comes around and starts to maybe not believe but accept there are things in this world that are supernatural.

Peg, how is your mom doing? You don't need to go into great deatil here in this thread, but overall - how is she? She just popped into my mind after reading your last post and it made me wonder if this isn't her trying to get your attention - in the 'crisis apparition' respect. Perhaps they do not always have to show in the form of apparitions, but also with poltergeist activity.

Whatever you do, no matter how annoyed you are, don't yell/cuss at him/her. That can only make things worse. If you speak to it, do so as you would any other person - with respect. Tell them to please stop, as they're scaring Gabby, etc. You might also consider smudging the house.

Curt (and I) thank you for the pic and he said yes that is what he seen.
Took alot of pics tonite, orbs in everyroom. All over the place, big and small and I went outside and one was over my truck.
I know screaming was wrong, but I am sure they can sense my stress so they been pretty good today.
Has anyone ever had orbs in all the rooms? I did ask nicely for them to be in the pic and they did =) I care about them, I told them I just want them to care about my family also.
I think it will get easier, Gabby has had enough and she's going home tomorrow.
It could be my mom, I will post on another site or mail you. This is a big problem.

Have you ever tried to help the spirits move on? If this is bothering Curt and Gabby, It might help them to try to clear out those that are unsettling. You'd have to find a method that works best for you. Some people have their houses blessed with holy water, some people burn white sage, some people just leave the bible open to Psalms 101 (I think) and receive some peace.

I have seen these shadow ghosts many times in two different houses. I read up on it and it said that they are a bad sign. As they cause rifts between families and try to split everyone up. From what I experienced in the houses this theory sounded right. Both parties involeved where arguing and fighting an awful lot and divorce etc did happen. Maybe coincidence???? I know you and your boyfriend? are ok now but why was he so upset with you - it could be connected. Your house seems to be full of ghosties.

Good luck with whatever you decide to do with them. Just thought I'd give info on what I knew.

Peg, I've seen shadow ghosts in a few of the places where I've lived. I think they are fairly common in regard to paranormal phenomenon. I don't think they necessarily have any connotation, positive or negative. However, Kell may have a point about your mother. In times of crisis, our energy levels rise. Your shadow ghosts may have lain dormant for years; but with all that you have going on in your life right now, they may be feeding off that energy and becoming more active.
If things become too much, I would try smudging, or some of the things Connie suggested; whatever you feel comfortable with. However, as some of the things in your life ease up, you may well notice a significant decrease in activity.

Hi everyone;

I seem to have visitors with a heart. I did get upset and went off. Then last night I asked them if I can take some pic's of them and I think each and everyone complied.
One shot in my kitchen has 5 orbs alone. I took pictures in each room (even the hallway) and every pic had at least 2 orbs in it.
When I went to my photo manager I had to minimize them to get the whole pic in, but some all but disappeared to scaling down, alot didn't.
I saved all the pic's on my computer and as I laid down to sleep I told them "God Bless you and thank you, Gabby is driving me nuts!" LOL
That is 2 nights now of peace and I am feeling they want me to know they are here. And I do.
I know I will have to do something here, I have more spirits in this house right now than even I know how to deal with.
And it could all be about my mom. Probably relatives watching over me the last couple years getting sicker and sicker and now mom dying.
Just Sunday night was not called for. At one point it sounded like pots and pans smashing in the washing machine yeah? And then the contstant rapping, something hitting the window?
One thing last night I did get is, my mom a couple years ago gave me my dads favorite rocker, same pad on it and everything and it is very dear to me. On the pic in the living room you can see a slight mist against the pad, so one is daddy. And he would never let anything hurt me.
Also, the pressure in the house is terrible. I feel like my head is in a vise, Curt is wayyy too grumpy and even Gabby is being snippy. So, its affecting us all.
Tonite I will work on the pics, I am not good at this but I have done it before, it just takes me time LOL!

Yep, I am going to ask Kell about it. I have a digital cam, but I use disk not the memory stick? Don't ask me why, I guess cause I can label them and keep them.
Anyways, it a really good Mavica with a great zoom on it, but I didn't see any orbs until I put the disks in the A drive on here. I have seven disks with orbs and I am going to go back through them tonite. I went to send Kell a couple today and they are too small you can barely see.
So I will work on it, I never in my life got orbs in all rooms of my house and all these pics were taken .........boom boom boom one right after another.
This is definitely different for me and I am a bit excited since they let me rest. You would not beleive how noisy they were the other night!

Personally, if shadow people are not ghosts as we currently know them to be, I like the 'astral bodies' theory on page 2. That's what I was trying to get across by mentioning the crisis apparition.

As for your pics - can you just download them straight to your computer from the camera without resizing them first? That would be best, if you can do it. Then just include some in an email to me and I'll put them up here for you.

Thank you Kell for all your hard work on the pics! It just seems when I scaled them down they are that much harder to see. But when I had them full blown here, there were many! Figures I would accumulate huh?
Well, things are going weird again. Three Hundred dollars, or there abouts is missing from my checkbook, that nobody was in but me, all my fingernail files disappeared ( I have them all over the house), my favorite diamond ring is gone (its just a tiny one but I love it)........you name it, if I really want or need it it's gone!
Curt and I were gone yesterday. We always leave the cartoon channel on in the living room and our bedroom for puppy, lights on etc. We got home, the tv was off in our room, but my computer was on in my office? I had left the light on in my office cause puppy loves to lay on the futon, but it was out, not the light bulb working fine today?
The list goes on. Curt is asking me if its every been this bad LOL!
I am at least picking up a feeling now of somebody caring. And Max, my pup doesn't seem to mind them at all?
Three Hundred dollars? It is in a bank envelope and I know where I put it, in my purse on top of the fridge?
I just looked up and said "sorry, what did I do?"
Not joking I had around 6-7 long black professional fingernail files, alllllllllll gone!
I am thinking, money, fingers, rings?
Any thoughts? LOL
