Thanks Trinity! I did a search on the web, but nothing really came up under "octpus-thingy with teeth". Oh well.

Was diggin through the archives & I think this is just the coolest topic(next to purple frogs,of course!)lol.
Being out over deap ocean can be very intimidating w/all those miles of black water under you...spooky. [Eek Smile]

Gee, if those squids would attemp to attack a sperm whale, why wouldn't it have tried to attack the early sailing vessels especially if they hadn't seen one before - those ships weren't really that big and the squid might have thought they were grabbing the bottom of a whale. Those early sailors that reported sea monsters may not have been sea crazy after all.

I don't know,but we sure got some great artwork of ships w/big octupus-squid creatures wrapped around em! [Cool]
