Just a while ago, I was watching the one Haunted America show on the Travel Channel (thought I've probably seen it a million times). They first showed something on a doll named Robert, and I don't know about anyone else, but it's really freaky!
[Embarrassed] Aheh...I took my cat into the room with me to watch it so I wouldn't be alone...I hate that doll thing. If anyone has any information other than what the Travel Channel has provided, please tell me and a thanks should be in order.
Thanks much,

OOH! I'm a frequent flyer to KW! that's the doll that actually moves! gawd dolls really give me the creeps sometimes and not just the ones of legend as is robert- dolls period just do that. I have a few old ones and i put them away.

if you ever get a chance to visit the "conch republic" as KW us called you should.

it is a totally hedonistic trip.

duval street is where all the bars are- there is a famouse t-shirt listing them all with check boxes for attending them and the last check box is the betty ford clinic. yup it's called doing the duval crawl when ya bar hop there. then there's mallory square at sunset with all sorts of weirdness and sword swallowers and dominiques flying housecat circus ( my fabu fav!) then a bagpiper plays the very last note of amazing grace as the sun slips into the sea. then it's back to non-apologetic liquor consumption! great times, good food, lots of ghosts.

but honestly- st augustine FL is better for the ghosts. but not quite as good for the party although I can assure you that my old home will wet you dow real right good!

Key West can't be all bad - it attracts Pat Daily in the Winter.

I wonder if that was the real Robert they showed on the TC show? Even if it wasn't, it was still creapy.

I have never heard the story of "Robert" before. Very creepy. I have to agree Sundog, dolls scare me. I used to have a porcelain doll when I was younger. As much as I loved her, she still freaked me out. My Mom had to paint new eyes over the ones that were already there and when I went to bed, she went all the way in the back of my closet.

I have never been to Florida and actually, I have never been on a plane. *gasp* [Eek Smile]

What, no pictures of Robert?????
Ewww spooky, I dont like scary dolls.
I used to have "lifesize" raggety ann and andy
dolls. But after the scary story came out
about them being possessed in someones house.
My sister cut their arms off and shoved them
in the closet in a garbage bag. She was almost
twenty then and I was 9. How tramatic for a kid.
I dont like clown dolls at all!!! theyre freaky!
well if the show comes on again, I'll have to
watch it.

Clowns have always and will always be creepy. As for me and dolls, I had this really fanciful one with a pretty Victorian dress, and I hated it to pieces. It freaked me out, soI stuck it in the corner facing the wall and gave it away some time after. >___< I hate dolls.

Speaking of dolls, has anybody seen the movie "Dolls"? I think that's what it was called... Anyway, it was a horror flick, not sure of the era but I was in my teens when I saw it.

Most horror flicks don't scare me. I was not afraid of Freddy, and Jason I thought was just weird. But those dolls... Now they scared the hell out of me! What made it worse is that my mom had a bunch of older dolls - some of which were similar to the ones in the movie. Needless to say, I kept my distance from those plastic little terrors...
