Hi All,
just to let you know, my work ghosties are
being very active these days. Last week, my
assistant was locking up and alarming the
building. This time, he heard voices and
footsteps. Then last friday, I was talking to
an employee, we were standing at my boss's
desk, when a hanger flew off the rack. It was on
one of those high metal kitchen racks. we keep
our linen there and coffee urns on the top.
I looked at her and she looked at me and we
both said "well, okay," and then ran into the
social hall where everyone else was. Today,
a stack of clear to go containers flew out of
the box. I said "Stop it!" and then 5 mins later
a coffee urn fell off the top rack. There was no
one near it, and these are our older ones, they
do not get used hardly, and have been up there
for the past month. and there is only 4 up there
there is plenty of room. so I know none was
teetering or anything. So it broke into a million
pieces. and I learned my lesson not to say
anything. I think since we've acknowledged that
it exsists, it's being more brave. Before a
couple of weeks ago, my assistant, didnt even
believe in ghosts. Now he is convinced. I guess
when you hear voices and walking in an empty
building, it makes you wonder. Im tempted to
put a recorder in the social hall and leave it
there over night. Im just scared of what I'll
hear.
Thanks

Doreen, I think leaving a recorder over night is a great idea! I know how you feel about being afraid of what you might hear, I would be too...but I think it's a great idea none the less. I say "Do it." Who knows, they may sense that your trying to capture something and not make any noise at all. [Wink]

If you're going to take recordings, how about some video too? If you have, or can borrow a Handycam with the night-shot feature up to a VCR so you can get 6 or 8 hours of recording time. At least that's what I would do given the opportunity. You might catch your ghosties in action, either as orbs or if they decide to move things around you'll have it on tape! =)
