Hi do you ever get the feeling some one is with you? That some thing strange is happening, yet you put it off. Here is what happens to me see if yo ucan relate. But first I would love to know can ghost/spirits follow you from place to place?

Well let see where to start. I had a accident at a family house and was staying there. When it started we all meaning 3 of us would hear footsteps have papers move when no one was around, feel like there was some one there but when looked no one was.

Now I have moved on with my life and now things are happening to me and I can't explain them. Like my door to upstairs opens when I know has been latched for days. Or will lay in bed and swear someone came in the front door knowing it is locked. Both my husband and I have heard this but he just ignores it. My bed room door will swing open and closed back and forth which we both have watched he explains it away as a draft. But I will get up and see if any doors or wondows are open and there isn't. Can anyone please tell me whats going on. Do spirits move with you where ever you go?? How do I find out who this is?

Sounds like you may have some activity going on.
But I wouldn't get upset or scared. I always stand by this, I beleive they are as scared as we are.
When you look at it like that, it puts it in a different light doesn't it?

Cuddles, Peg's right...about the caps thing. We try not to use all caps, because it implies yelling. There is something about it in the guidelines also...just so you know for next time..cause it is also kind of hard to read.

But in answering your questions...Yes, spirits can move with a person, as well as with an object. I believe there is a term for it, but they sort of impression themselves onto someone or somethin and wherever that person or thing goes they go. Like a residual haunting. Which is a haunting that replays it self again in again in a certain area. I'm sure everyone on this site or at least most of us, have experienced that feeling of someone watching over you...it can be a good feeling or bad. Its different for everyone. If you feel uncomfortable then its probably a negative energy. But, if you aren't upset or frightened by it, it might just be a passed relative or friend popping in to check up on ya. There's so many different theorys or ideas of what it might be...and I am sure you will get a lot of them here. Good luck, and keep us updated.

Just a suggestion, but you may want to post in the "Introduce Yourself" section of the board so that everyone will have a chance to give you a proper hello!

It definitely sounds as if you have some activity going on in your home. I have to agree with both Peg and Christine, ghosts and spirits can definitely follow a person from place to place, or even an object. A person can attract spirit attention or activity just by being receptive to it.

Have you thought about the fact that this may not be a spirit that has followed you, but that your present home may just be haunted? You might want to look into the history of your home to see if you can't find anything that way.

Do you feel like this is the same spirit from when you were younger? If so, it could be a relative or a loved one that is just keeping an eye on you and trying to let you know that they are there. In any event, Good luck and definitely keep us posted on how things are going! =)

There have been accounts of spirits following a person rather than being tied to a specific location. Perhaps it's a deceased relative checking up on you, or a spirit that took a liking to you or something.

You say you feel like you're being watched. Do you ever feel a disoriented sensation? I feel that sometimes when I'm in haunted places.

Actually, I have 2 spirits that follow me. My father and grandmother. It's usually only when everything is going awful. I can smell Chantilly perfume with grandma and I just sense a warmth with my father, like being wrapped up in a warm blanket.
And, I have picked up a few odd ones, I think they must have moved next door!
I agree with everyone above, find out more about your home if you aren't getting any vibes about who it might be. Ask neighbors, etc.

Hi well we just moved into a aptment in which was just sold so I really can't find out a lot here as most tennets are new also. But I feel it is the same sprit as I have always had with me.
