Aren't you from Massachusetts? I thought I read a post by you before saying you were from Mass.
No offense. It's my mistake.
The rest is just me being stressed silly while at work. When I get stressed I feel like talking in grunts and sounds to reflect my brain wanting to shutdown.
I meant no offense by that either. Just being silly. Sorry.
In grade school I was told that Massachusetts was named after Massassiott (sp?). An indian chief during the colonial era if I remember correctly.
Nakis, yes you did remember correctly about Massasoit.I'm not taking offense to anything...I was merely confused.Didn't understand that reply. No harm done...
Yup,I'm from up there, where the seafood is wicked good!
Connie and Kell,
I haven't seen any comments about the fact that the boy in red pants is black and white from shoulders up. Looks like a block of b/w film was pieced into the color. very wierd.
That is odd and it's something I've never focused on before. It looks like a square over his head an shoulders (not the shampoo) that didn't have any color. Very strange. I wonder if there is anything technically that could cause that? That picture was taken about 10 years ago - that's my youngest and he's 16 now. My oldest is the one in the blue giving the bunny ears.
Hmm... I'm not sure what to make of that, Alan. I really hadn't noticed before. I'd think the red/yellow stuff is a light leak, but the b&w effect is odd...
Connie - based on the year these pics were taken, this would have been a 35mm, correct?
Yes Kell, those were taken with a 35mm camera with no strap. They were somewhere in the middle of the role and the other pics were totally normal. I remember taking out the negatives on those and the red and the vortex did not go past the frame - usually a light leak will go outside the framed pic. I'll have to dig those out again (hope I can find them) and check to see what that black and white box looks like on the negative.
