Has anyone received tickets to the John Edward's show Crossing Over? What's the secret? My sister and I have been trying to get tickets through the phone line opened the first Saturday of every month. We've gotten through and left our information [Confused] , but we've never received a call. I've heard they give preference to those who live in or around NYC. Does anyone have the scoop?

My sister really, really wants them. But for me, I've been fortunate to not need John, as I've had visitations through dreams and other messages. My sister has experienced this only once ... at my home ... a "smell" associated with my mother (I get that a lot). Funny how we are siblings but she is not open to these messages.

Anyway, does anyone know about the tickets?

Good Luck getting tickets to his show on television.
He does tour. Tickets run anywhere between $165 and $99 a pop. They say you can sit anywhere and if a spirit comes through to you he can find you?
That is all I know.
Personally, I wouldn't waste my money.

I am sorry, I didn't mean to be so negative. But he makes so much money off his so called gift, it makes me wonder?
He charges $300+ for personal sittings?
I don't get a good feeling with him. He is using his gift for profit, a high profit margin.
Something just doesn't set right with me and that.

Peg,
He lives in New York - Everything is more expensive in New York. A one room apartment is $1,000.00 a month, or more, in New York. It's all relative.

Hi Connie,
I know the differences in regional living. When I moved here from Michigan my home taxes dropped to 1/4, as did my insurance (car). And it goes on and on.
But late last year he was appearing in Columbus and Toledo. All seats were $165 no matter where you sat.
My daugher in-law said he is coming around again and this time seats are $99.
Most rock stars don't charge that! LOL And they live in mansions. I know he doesn't sell records but he sure sells books.
I don't doubt he has some ability, but I would like to see him help some people for not a dime?
Guess, its just me.
I didn't mean to offend anyone, I am just a giving person and a doer. Like Curt always said, I would be the brokest millionaire you ever saw! LOL
Love ya'
Going to Hopkins to pick up family tomorrow and will be in you area! Will look for a red mini-van LOL!

No offense taken Peg. I'm sure you'll be more inclined to know the ins and outs of why certain charges are made but others may not, that's why I posted.

The way I look at it, when people like him and James Van Prague go public, they not only are helping the people they are reading, they are spreading the idea that it is possible and open a lot of minds and that can help more people than just doing readings in a back room for donations.

Another thing, when they go public, the are putting themselves out there which means they have to add security for themselves and their families, pay for all the people that work for them, etc. etc. Also, except for individual readings, I don't think they have much choice of what is charged when they are on the road - a lot depends on where the event is held - if they try to keep the audience at a managable level, higher prices have to be charged just to make it worthwhile for the building owner, etc. A rock band can play to a larger audience, minimizing the cost of admission.

A bit off subject but it does show a bit of my point - when Antique Road Show was in town, it was sponsored by PBS and they tied the admission in with the price of membership into PBS - I believe you had to buy a membership at about $150.00. If you weren't a member of PBS, you couldn't get tickets to the Road Show. Why would I spend $150.00 to find out that my puter tea pot is a forgery and not worth the $1.00 I paid at the garage sale?

One hundred and fifty dollars? Was it a charitable write off? Geeze!
Edwards was playing at the Convovation Center last year in Cleveland, no small place! I seen Barney there! LOL Yes, I said Barney. Woo Hoo....Barney Rocked! Well he did do a cute Elvis skit.
Edwards might be playing smaller venues this year. Last year on his page to buy tickets, it did say it didn't matter where you sat. If you had a message coming through John would find you.
Did you see John on Larry King live this week. He's got a new book out about stories of people crossed over and the messages they brought to him.
Although he said he gets no messages for himself, he said a lady's family that crossed was there with messages from his family that crossed over.
I did see a live show, not a taped on in March of this year on cable. Curt was on a business trip and I was watching his show and seriously working the internet trying to find tickets. In my bedroom across the hall from my office (God as my witness) he asked the audience if anyone associated anything with Piglet? I am jumping up and down, "yeah me, yeah me!" He kept asking and nobody could put Piglet with anything. I was laughing out loud. I still wonder if we connected that night. He did ask the audience a few times, in between others. Maybe you seen it. Piglet threw him big time!
Hugs!

Hi,
I would appreciate that Hallow. Like how big the arena was, ticket price?
My daugher in-law really wants to go next time he comes here. I don't understand why, I don't think she has lost anyone in her life at this point.
LOL My dad would and say, "you paid how much?" Now that would be funny and sound just like him.
Not that daddy isn't here everyday with me or grandma for some reason.
I think they love me too much and I am such a maniac they feel I need looked after.
When my father died he begged me to marry and settle down once and for all so he didn't have to worry about me. So, I married before he died of cancer, I had been dating Curt. He also told Curt he'd be keeping an eye out to make sure he treated his baby right. Oh and he is!
I am very interested in the show though.
Cause the Convocatoin Center in Cleveland was no small potatoes.
Luv ya'

We went to see John Edwards back in the spring. He plays all sorts of
venues - we saw him in Providence in a fairly small auditorium. Amy
called and got tickets, just hit it right. Paid 45 each for them. Her
daughter on the other hand went to the Worcester Centrum, got tickets to
see him and paid over 100. Go figure.

[Sigh] Well, this was all I got in response to my inquiry, guess it's not much help.(Shrug)-sorry.

Isn't that odd that he plays all kinds of venues?
Here in Ohio, I am not sure about this year, but last year he played concert arena's in 2 cities and a convention center. In concert arena's alone you could put 30k people or even more, that is cutting the arena in half sometimes.
You would be watching it on one of the screens on either side of the television.
I did check on personal readings. Three hundred per person and they are booked three years ahead at this time.
Sorry kiddo......

I've had fun reading everyone's responses. I've been able to get through on his phone line, but have never been "chosen at random" to receive tickets. Oh well, when the time is right, and when it's supposed to happen, it will. In the meantime, I'll keep my finger dialing the first Saturday of the month. His website mentions that they are working on booking venues, and Miami is listed, so perhaps my sister and I will plan on that when it is booked.

Thanks ya'll!

Having some fun breaks up the seriousness here sometimes.
We don't all agree here at times, as you read above. But we do respect each others feelings and that is one of the greatest things about this site.
Glad we gave you a chuckle!
That is just us?
Hugs!
