This is a pic from a forest I spent alot of time in up in Massachusetts.
The original pic is larger & shows a pathway through the forest to water.
I scanned it into my PC for my slideshow screensaver.I Had noticed a bluish tinge in the corner before, but thought nothing of it.
Well,I decided to make it clearer so I stuck it in my photo editor & upped the contrast and decreased the brightness & these guys popped into view...
My husband says he sees 2 guys in flannels & bluejeans...
What you are viewing is the righthand corner of the pic,I had to zoom in on it & then decrease the size to get it to post.
I always thought of this forest as a sacred place.

Ok,here's the whole pic.It was taken in the 80s.
You can see why I never noticed anything before.Granted,I had to shrink it a great deal to get it to post.
The above pic isn't that great either,it really came to life when I took the original & put it in windows pic & fax viewer & zoomed on that corner.

Great pic... do you have it in a larger size? I would like to put it on my editors and get a closer look if I may? Did some looking at your zoomed pic ... and to me it looks like two bikers... looks like the guy on left has long dark hair curly, long curly full beard, sort of leaning to his left as if leaning against a tree. The guy on the right appears to have either a blue bandanna on his head or light gray hair.. can pick up a hint of maybe sunglasses.. and a beard... he seems to be walking in front of the other guy. Also I think both these guys have leather jackets and blue jeans... at first I thought the guy on left had camo pants on but now I think its more like jeans. Just wondering when things like this appear in out of the way places... could it be the spirits are trying to lead someone to a crime scene, or a shallow grave.. or hidden body from a crime? just wondering. - Also in the whole picture did you notice the orb? There is an orb at the top edge of the pic... above and to the right of the guys. Very cool pic indeed.

Ok thanks for sending the original pic... it is a bit grainy but ... I wanted to be sure before I commented farther ... there seems to be a 3rd person in this image. A female kneeling between the two guys.. she looks fairly young and frail. This is very creepy now. Making me think this was more and more the scene of a tragedy or violent crime. .. here is what I see... tell me if your see her as well. the image may be a lil large. But it has to be to see...

Well, you've successfully passed the creeps onto me now.I'm not sure if I see a little girl there or not.
Your eyesight may be better than mine!(mine can't be corrected to 20/20)

I'd really like to see what others have to say about it.This pic was taken in the 80s,so yes it is grainy.

So,how bout it guys? What does everyone think?

Wow, great images there. I'd like to see the original too. The small version is too small to make anything out. Can you post a link, or email it to me? Thanks.

BTW, my wife's late father used to live in Carlisle, MA.

Thanks for emailing the original. It's pretty creepy when you zoom in on that lower right corner. I can definitely make out the one guy (the one on the right). Not sure about the other guy, I just see a glow where his head might be.

As for the girl, I missed at first until I saw it in HillBilly's blow-up. It does look like a young girl's face, but it could be something else entirely. That's the problem with ghost pics, something perfectly ordinary might look like a face in a picture.

There's no mistaking that one man though.

Ok Guys,
This is what I see.
In the first picture, I saw 2 guys both in
jeans, the one on the right is wearing a
bandana, the one on the left has dark long
wavy hair. When I looked for the little girl
in the blown up picture, I instead saw a dog.
like a beagle, then I saw the girl, to the
left and lower. Tell me what you think.

Im back again. The very first photo is darker,
At first glance, I thought pirates. Because it
looked like they were looking at like a map or
something. The one with the dark hair has
his head cocked to the side and it holding
the top of the "map" The dog looks like his
front paws are on a branch. Do you think the
girl is sitting or laying on the ground, or
is it a small child?

There are so many possibilities here .. when I first looked at the pic I thought there was more than just the two guys... loooking closer I can see what I thought was a girl could be a dog.. and what I thought was the girls face now looks like the guy in the blue bandana is holding a shiny knife. The face with the long wavy hair is tilt towards the other guy yet .. just to the left of that face seems to be the head attached to the body... did pirates have blue jeans? Here is a better view of what I see...
 - Guess it goes to show many people see things totally different. everytime I think I see something else... I think now its my mind telling me to make things appear that arent there.

Hi all,
Allen, when I first saw the pic and didnt read it, I saw the bandana and thought pirate,
The coffee kicked in and said "no, no pirate,
no jeans then" But the dog, jumped right out.
I could sort of make out the girl. Look in the
2nd one that hillbilly posted.
By the bandana'd ones knee. the dog is there.
This is a great pic hallowseve!!!! [Eek Smile]

I am Hillbilly just had kell change my name to something a lil shorter. The image by the time you resize a to about 300% its normal size to inspect, is so pixelized that you can imagine to see anything. the pic is very grainy to begin with. yet still she says this pic was taken back in the 80's ... this pretty much rules that this was not a digital camera... I am guessing it was a 110 compact camera or a point and shoot 35 mm. In either case there is one possiblity that this could possibly be a partial double exposure. Just a hunch.

Allan,
Duh, sorry, If I could only read!!!!!
=P It's true about your mind wanting to see
things. Some of the ghost cams do that, The
one in England, I think it is, On the sighting
page it states this person sees someone
dragging someone down the stairs and two other
people watching, I couldnt see a blasted thing
in that pic! I tried several times and then
decided I wanted their drugs! [Big Grin]
But this pic is definitly a topic of conversation.
Im drawn to it like a moth to a bug zapper!

I agree that these guys kinda resemble pirates, as crazy as it may sound. Maybe it's not jeans at all, but rather regular ol' pants. They did wear different colors back then to. The bandana guy almost appears that he's wearing a black patch over one eye. I know, it's weird. The problem with me is I'm not seeing the little girl. The guys pop out fine for me, but nothing else. Can someone maybe draw on their pic and post it with her circled or something? Maybe I just don't have the "ghost eye" needed for this job. LOL
[Confused]
Thanks,

This is an absolutely amazing picture! I'm also not seeing the dog or little girl, but the two guys come in loud and clear. The first thing I thought of after looking at it, and it is sticking with me, is a hunting accident. Is there any way to find out if such an accident happened in that area? Truly an amazing pic! Thanks so much for sharing with us!

Thanx Carrie,I'm not sure if they allow hunting in that forest. It was always a place for people to go & commune with nature...I'l run a search on it anyway. If I find anything I'll share it.I don't live up there anymore so I'll Google it & see if I come up with anything. [Wink]

This is about all I had luck finding,I doubt I could ever find that spot again it would have changed somewhat by now.

Native Americans used sections of Great Brook Farm as sacred sites. Seventeenth century cellar holes comprise "the city" where early English settlers worked one of numerous mill sites on the 1,000 acre park.Below is an interesting link-scroll down to- Click on - Stone Embrasures at Great Brook Farm. Beautiful pictures!

Apparently there is also a cemetary nearby,I did a lot of searching. From hauntings there to just general info on the park.
There is Great Brook Farm, but behind it is the woods where I used to hang out.I do clearly remember an old well that we all thought was spooky,I couldn't find much more on it.

ChrisB., the above info. was about all I could find on it. I replied to your other mail & if you like I can send you the original scan of this picture. Wish I could do more.

Personally I would like to find out more about the Legend of Col. Tyngs wife. In Tyngsboro Ma. I searched on it & got a few minor tidbits that didn't confirm whether there was any truth to it or not, or where abouts the actual haunting took place (the-now gone- Mansion?). If there even was a haunting. It remains a mystery to me.
