Hi everyone! Hope all are well this Halloween season!

I am part of a small group of friends here in central NJ that believe in ghosts and paranormal activity. We've recently become interested in attending a seaunce. Does anyone know how we would go about finding someone to do this? More importantly, how would we go about making sure this person is the "real thing" and not someone who's just interested in ripping us off?

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Howdy, Bizer, welcome to the Keep. I wholeheartedly agree with Eve, do it yourself. Make sure to do all your research first and PLEASE stay away from witchboards. I`ve never heard of anything positive coming from their use.
White light on you!

Hi Binzer - welcome to SpiritKeep! =)

My advise is don't even go there with the witchboards/Ouija Boards. If you are inexperienced and don't know how to handle the boards or a seance properly, you're just asking for trouble. Really. I've heard some horror stories and have a few creepy experiences of my own. Although they are sold as toys for any and all to use, in my opinion, it's a terrible disservice by those who sell them.

Please stay safe~

Have you considered casting runes or doing a tarot reading before hand?Might give you an idea about the outcome.Or provide a warning.(just a thought) [Wink]

Hi Binzer! It's nice to meet you! Welcome to SpiritKeep.

I have to agree with Hallowseve. I would suggest doing as much research as you can on the subject first. As far as finding someone to perform the actual seance for you...I have to say I don't really have much advice on what to look for. If you and your friends do decide to do this on your own, just be careful and make sure that you take all the proper precautions.

Good luck and definitely let us know how it goes!
