Hey people. I woke up one morning with ahuge bruise on my arm and I don't know where it came from. As I went through the day, it started to hurt worse and worse when I touched it or bumped it. Does anyone know what this thing is??? [Confused]

An unexplained bruise is one you don't remember getting. There are a lot of mundane reasons why that could have happened. Please try to look at those reasons before you conclude something extra-ordinary/supernatural. You may have done it while busily doing something else and paid no attention to it at the time.
I'm not saying that it wasn't from something not mundane but you should always look into and eliminate the mundane reasons before you start calling it extra-ordinary.

yeah i agree i know i myself have woken up with bruises and sore hands but that is a result of something that i did in my sleep. i have a habit of getting into fights in my sleep and i punch my headboard very hard but i sleep so deep that it doesnt wake me up. h*** i usually forget the dreams by the morning and my girlfriend will ask why i was punching the headboard.

Having bruises appear out of the blue can be a symtom of a medical problem. If it happens again, I'd see a doctor even if it's just to rule them out.

I think you should check with your doctor. Once I had a bad bruise on my arm, couldn't think of how I got it.
Turned out it was an infection from a box cutter? I had just sliced it ever so thin, but it got infected.
See a doctor.

I used to wake up with bruises all the time - or I would notice them later in the day. Then I started taking Iron and Calcium pills and I never had that problem again. Of course it was also combined with a coordination problem which is still ongoing and apparently incurable. [Wink]

I caught the tail end of a show on television the other night that was quite freaky. It was about this family that lived in a house and the husband kept waking up with huge deep scratch marks all over his body. It happend all the time and he had several scars to prove it. Some even looked like claw marks and his wife would have to get a wet cloth to wash off the blood. I guess they found out they had a ghost in there of a little girl named "Sally" and they thought it was her at first.. turned out there was another entity in the house as well. From what I heard they believed it to be the evil one and not the little girl who was hurting the man. Anyways.. just thought I'd share that with you. I found it quite interesting! [Eek Smile]
I hope you havn't had anymore problems! Have a great day!

Love & Peace,
Lady G

I agree with the others - see your doctor. You may simply need vitamin suppliments. [Wink]

Gwen, that haunt is in Atchinson, Kansas. Indeed, they believe the 'one' attacking the husband was not Sallie. The "Sightings" film crew also filmed an occurance of the scratches happening while they were at the house to do a story about the haunting. [Shocked] You can read more about it at PrairieGhosts.com: Sallie-The Heartland Ghost[/URL].
