Wow! Thats about all I can say about seeing (the new) Texas Chainsaw Massacre! It was def. scary! I saw it with my boyfriend.. and it takes a lot to scare him and he was just as scared as me! I was so freaked out that my head was down to my knees in the theatre chair that when I stood up I had a huge cramp! Its so awesome! If you havent seen it yet go see it! Unless you have a weak stomach I suggest no eating before or during the flick! [Wink]

Hey Spookie, have you seen Identity yet? It's with Ray Liotta,John Cusak(sp?),& even Gary Buseys' little brother plays a role, really good flick!

Also reccomended was From H**l w/Johnny Depp. That one is gory,& has strong content. The persecution of women in it is sickening, but it was also quite good. It's about one of the Jack the Ripper theories.-Happy Horror! [Cool]

OK,well I posted a huge almost unreadable list of movies in this section somewhere, alot were a little before your time.

I'm big into the special effects though.I could go back & forth w/you on horror for a long time.

They-by Wes Craven was pretty recent & I liked it alot. And,there is this movie called Cube. That was a surprise to me how good it was...just saw the second one however,& it kinda stunk. [Shocked]

Watched Wrong Turn tonight, I'm still recovering [Eek Smile]

I watched most of it through my fingers....I know, I'm such a baby! Geez you guys that was horrible and so intense!

We live right by the woods and I told Jen, I will never go in them after dark again [Wink] AND since I have relatives down in West Virginia, does anybody know if that legend is true?? If so, next time I go visiting I'm going down in a tank [Nope!]

Wait a minute Rain, aren't you the one that said the skull was to creepy for ya the 1st time I posted that Gathering Darkness link? And YOU watched Wrong Turn?I wish I could have seen that!LOL!I doubt that there is anything to that, but hillbillies & rednecks are easy targets for Horror flicks. All the elements are there, see it helps to isolate the victims 1st!LOL!

Spookie,I think the Thing(John Carpenter) was before your time.(released in 1982)But it is still on my all time favorites list & the special effects still rock out to this day!!!If you haven't seen it & you are a true Horror fan,it's required watching.Giggle! [Wink]

Yup I'm the one who didnt like the skull and I do get scared easy but love watching horror movies anyway. Still, I had no idea how creepy it would be. Glad you find that so amusing =P

I generally wait for everything to come out on DVD though, I must confess.

EWwww,Yeah! I thought the spookiest one was the girl in the bathroom though. She had a weird, hostile, yet - vacant stare to those eyes! Ewww... chills.

They did a great job w/ the sound effects & special effects! When that psychic got killed I just was gapemouthed! Had the same reaction to the wire/mass-death scene in Ghost Ship.

Was a little disappointed that the mastermind behind the construction of the whole house in 13Ghosts was such a smuck though! They needed someone more evil & less silly- in my humble opinion.

YAY! Fellow horror movie lovers! I don't know how I missed this post! My husband and I both love a good horror flick.

We saw Texas Chainsaw Masacre about 2 weeks ago. All I can say is...OMG! We had taken my nephew (who is 17) we were all so scared. Let me tell you, if I ever get stuck in the middle of nowhere, after seeing that and Wrong Turn I won't be going near any strange houses. I'll be sprinting back the way I came...no walking deeper into the woods for me [Wink]

We just saw Gothika this past Friday night. There were a few parts that seemed to drag on a bit, but other then that it was really good. Definitely scary and very suspenseful with a crazy twist! It's a must see in the theatre and Cindy, it's a great one for watching between your fingers! [Laughing]

Haven't been to see the new leatherface yet, I want to but not sure if I can take him on the big screen.

Trin, after seeing Wrong Turn, if I'm ever in a car that breaks down, I'm not sprinting anywhere.....I'm locking the doors and not budging [Laughing]

I'm taking the kids to see The Haunted Mansion this weekend. Then I want to see Gothika next, well what I can see between my fingers anyway [Wink]
