I am following this one very closely... I do hope the judge in the actual trial will allow cameras in the courtroom. I know we're not supposed to "pre-judge" people... but I think he's guilty. One thing that will be interesting to see, is what remanents of clothing were found on Laci's body. Salon Salon, (where Laci's sister worked) has a surveillence camera and they are going to review the tapes to see what Laci was wearing the day before her disappearance. She and Scott had gone there for him to get his hair cut by Laci's sister. His behavior has been "screwy" to say the least. What "normal" person would not be crazy with grief and worry when their pregnant wife is missing and then found murdered. Especially, when she was expecting his first child, his son! He was going to go golfing, but said it was too cold, so he went fishing instead? Well, color me stupid... but isn't it colder out on the water in a windy bay, than on a golf course? Sooo many lies this guy has told, to Ambery Frey, his family, her family, the police, etc... I believe that is going to be his undoing... "what a tangled web we weave, when first we practice to decieve." And here's where the "spirit" comes into the picture... Laci disappeared on Christmas Eve... her remains and her unborn child were found on Good Friday. For that reason, my opinion is that justice will prevail in this case, and I pray it does, for that beautiful girl and her sweet unborn child.

I agree with you 100%, Pate. Yeah, that story about first wanting to go golfing then deciding to go fishing because it's too cold to golf.... oh, that's rich! [Laughing] You mentioned all the lies he's told. I find it rather amusing that such a liar is also a *fertilizer* salesman. What a fitting career for a pathological liar. LOL

Well, the judge has ordered a trial. This should really start to get interesting now! I, too, hope they will allow cameras in the courtroom.

[Laughing] Kell... He can sure shovel the manure! It's interesting he said she was wearing black pants when she disappeared, but tan pants were found on her body, which is what she was wearing when she went to Salon Salon. And he walked out during the reading of the coroners report... well that was just for show. I'm just wondering when the devil worshipers will testify [Nope!] Sheesh!!! My mom always said, "If you stir S**t long enough, you start to smell like it" .... He's getting pretty stinky, huh? hehe

This is one that gives me a nagging feeling. He may have done it but something in the back of my mind is bugging me about this probably because there are other missing pregnant women in this area and I'm wondering if they are all linked somehow.

A good 95% of me feels very strongly he did it and I avoid this subject because it's too much for me to handle. I seem to be very sensitive about it. I cannot even watch anything on t.v. that has to do with this case. Somebody just let me know when he gets busted because that I want to see [Mad]

It's true, people are supposed to be presumed innocent until proven guilty. I guess it's a good thing for Scott Peterson that I won't be sitting in the jury box. [Wink] It is hard for many of us to imagine that a nice-looking man with a beautiful wife and a son on the way, could do such thing. I read the details of the case and the autopsy of Evelyn Hernandez, whose body was found in the same general area, in July 2002, 5 months prior to Laci's disppearance. You can read it at Court TV. [/URL] My theory on that is, is this... The tragic story of this woman was publicized in that area, (although it did not make national news) and her killer and her young son have never been found. It is very possible, that Scott Peterson was aware of this story, and got his idea for disposing of his wife's body from that. He may well have hoped that people would think Laci was a victim of the same killer. It has been stated that he has a very "narcissistic" personality, (he thinks he is smarter than everyone else.) Another point that hasn't been touched on very much, but which they have discussed on Court TV and the Fox News Channel, is the girl that went missing from the college that Scott Peterson attended at the time. He was acquainted with this girl, yet refused to cooperate with investigators and he wasn't considered a suspect. Wouldn't most people fully cooperate and help in any way they could, if a friend was missing? She has never been found. I cannot shake the feeling that he is guilty... actions speak louder than words. He's only been able to squeeze one or two tears out, which was so obviously orchestrated to make him appear "saddened." His actions have been strange to say the least. If he hadn't lied so much, (even buying a new truck using the name Jacqueline Peterson, and when asked about his name he is quoted to have said, "It's a boy named Sue type thing,") changed his appearance, was sitting right there at the border of Mexico with $10,000 cash on him... well, I could go on and on... As I said earlier in my other post, I do believe justice will prevail in this case, the Spirit is watching over this one... bringing Laci and her baby "home" on Good Friday after they were taken away on Christmas Eve.
