This photo was taken at Colonial Cemetery in Savannah, GA. Colonial Cemetery is the 2nd oldest cemetery in Savannah and was the main burial ground for the city from 1750 for 100 years. Along with Revolutionary War soldiers, statesmen and citizens, there are 700 victims of the yellow fever plague of 1850 who are buried in a mass gravesite. This photo was taken on a cloudy afternoon (around 2 p.m.) To the right side of the photo are what appear to be yellow orbs? I thought perhaps they were fireflies; however, I did not see any in the cemetery that afteroon, and they don't all light up at the same time (and it was in December). Take a peek and give me your opinion... (Hope they're not too large, I need picture editing 101 lol) [Sigh] Thank you

Not quite sure what to make of it,is that a house,a mausoleum,or the groundskeepers shed there?

I'm really not the authority around here on orbs,or anything else, but at 1st impression I thought they were leaves. Then I noticed that they are surrounded by a willow & evergreens,so that's encouraging.

Actually I'd like to see a cropped blow up of the orbs on the other side that are at the dark area where the tree is at...fascinating pic! [Shocked]

hi hallows:

I think the brick bldg on the left side is a groundskeeper's cottage... I will lighten the pic and crop that side... It was a dismal day and had been drizzling rain earlier, the lights u see near the dark tree on the left are headlights from a car on the road that you can see thru the branches. The yellow things on the right side are not leaves, you're right on that. And I didn't see them when I took the photo. If u look closely on the right side in the background, there is a wall, that's where the mass graves are located. Also, the yellow objects have little trails behind them as if they are orbs of light moving... I have been looking for a place to put this pic, hoping someone might be able to enlighten me lol I can go back and take some more pics there and see what happens. Ty ty for your reply =)

Thank you KellKell... I wasn't sure how to do it when I first posted the pics. I think I'll go back and take new ones... after seeing other people's pictures, I'm not sure what those are. I haven't gotten too many responses but the pics are creepy anyway. [Laughing] Hope yall enjoyed and will post some more Savannah pics. I have some of Bonaventure Cemetery (featured in Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil) It is a fascinating and beautiful place filled with spirits and tales.

Hi Pate,

You're welcome. [Wink] As for the above pics, I'm not sure what you've got there, but I'm not so sure it's paranormal in nature. They struck me as leaves too, at first, or reflections off of them, but I'm not even sure about that. The photos are a little grainy.... what kind of camera were you using? You also said it was raining that day. It could possibly be how the camera picked up the rain droplets. It's always best to avoid rain or moisture when trying to take ghost photos for that very reason. [Wink]

I'd like to see the other cemetery photos you have. Whether there are anomalies in them or not, I still find cemetery photos of interest. =)
