Wow, thanks Kell! I was looking for a link with info like that! [Big Grin]

Having read that, I wonder if I've had OBEs without realizing it. Sometimes when I've had lucid dreams, or are having trouble falling asleep, I've had some of those sensations (buzzing or roaring, floating sensations, arms/legs "moving" in my head but not really moving, etc.). It's never occurred to me to open my "eyes" during these occurrences though, so I don't know what I'd see, but maybe next time!

Thanks for the link Kell! That made me look at things a bit different. I have the wind thing going on in my dreams a lot lately so I'll have to pay more attention the next time! Dont think I've ever heard the buzzing sound but something similar to windchimes instead. I never thought that I might be having OBE but seems it's possible now.

One of the ways I used to work on getting OBEs was to imagine that I had hoops that were turning around my body and that moved up from my feet to my head. That usually worked! There is also a spiritual practice called Shabd Yoga which is the connection to the 'light and sound' of all that is. When you connect to the light and sound you can get the OBE. It's really great to have a living Master to guide you once you leave the body!!For more info you can check out SOS (Science of Spiritality). MC

I've had lucid dreams before, and one brief OBE. Also I've two really strange events, while awake, that caused me to see everything around me in "photo negitive" way. Both events lasted about 5 sec, but seemed like a long time! I remember sqeezing my eyes closed then opening them, trying to clear my sight. It was cool, but strange. The first time happend right after I woke up at night & sat on the edge of my bed. within one or two blinks, my sight was goofy! [Confused]

The second time happened while I was at lunch, and reading a religiuos book. It was making me think in awe of just how immence the created world is when Pow! Goofy eyesight! lol

Perhaps, in my thoughts, I sliped into a dream state.

I'm going to practice and study lucid dreaming & work on having OBE's. They were super cool. So few so far though . =(

The wierdest thing that happened(& I don't scare easy,I'm way to into horror for that)I was sleeping & the sound of a deep scratchy voice whispering in my ear woke me it sounded angry that I was up then faded quickly...the hair on the back of my neck stood up,1st I couldn't move, then paralysis broke & I ran into the other room.It scared the crap out of me!

Do you guys think this could have been a symptom of an oncoming OBE ?
