I have the strangest story to tell. This all just happened yesterday and today.. well here goes..

Those of you that read my posts earlier know that its quite obvious that my dad is haunting my house and fixing things.

This is what happened...

Yesterday I got home with my b/f and my mom told me that she had to go buy me a new tire for my Jeep. I asked her why and she told me that I must of ran over a nail.. I was all upset cause I wouldnt be able to drive it until it got fixed. I didnt think anymore about it and went on with the evening. My b/f and I then left for the 2nd time last nite and went to a friends house to hang out.. well when we got back I remembered about the tire so I went over to look at it.. I was like yea thats a nail alright.. but something made me touch it.. I touched it and moved it a lil and it flew out! Just like when you get little stones in the tread of the tire. I was like what the heck?! I ran up and got my mom and brought her down to see.. I was like mom it wasnt a nail.. it was a little stone. We both stared at each other for at least 5 min.. I told her that when I first saw it I knew it was a rock.. but when it flew out it was a stone! She started crying and so did I cause we both thought of my dad fixing it for me. We miss him deeply. But he always has promised us that he would be there for us no matter what! Well after my mom and I calmed down for a lil bit.. and I looked the tire all over and saw there were no holes or anything. I said well if the tire is flat by morning then there was a nail in it..

Well then this morning just about 15 min. ago my mom yelled for me to come downstairs.. she said I found the nail. I was like huh? And sure enough laying right next to our back door.. was the nail that both her and I saw in the tire. But it wasnt a nail when it came out of my tire! And the tire isent flat! Its completely normal.

Its def. been an interesting evening and morning for my mom and I. We are both going through ourselves cause were not sure whats going on. [Confused]

Could this of been my dad???? I think it had to of been! =)

I certainly believe it could have been you Da. I know from first hand experience (which I won't go into here [Roll Eyes] ) that *some* Spirit's do had the ability to manipulate objects in the realm we are in. If they can protect us it would be my guess they could plug a potential flat! It's wise though not to count on them being the overseer of everything that might go arye. Things will still go wrong and things will still get broken and have to be fixed in the conventional ways... but how Blessed you both are that you have a Soul paying so much attention!!

Much huggage lass, =)

I agree with Iron Bess. I believe some spirits are able to manipulate objects, and watch out for those they care about.
Your story reminded me of something that happened several years ago. At that time, my car was new, I had it about a year. The cruise control had quit working and I had been meaning to take it in and have it looked at. Several family members had already looked at it and couldn't figure out what was going on with it.
I had visited an old cemetary that I was quite fond of. It is a beautiful place, sitting on a hilltop, with ornate markers dating from before the Civil War. On a whim, my husband and I had stopped there around dusk to take a few pictures. I walked amongst the old tombstones, and had a very welcoming, warm feeling. I have several distant relatives and people who were friends of my family buried there. The cemetary has a reputation of being very haunted.
Just as we were driving away, I attempted again, to flip on my cruise control -- for the first time in months it worked.
I don't know if I had made a friend in a long gone mechanic, or just someone who had been handy with machinery in his lifetime. My husband was quite amazed, and to this day can't figure out how my cruise control suddenly started working! I thanked my "friend" profusely for saving me a trip to the dealership. [Wink]

Wow that is an amazing story Carrie.

I know ive thanked my dad (or whomever) (most likely had to of been my dad =) ) 1,000,000 times today for taking care of me like that. My mom told me that I was lucky cause it was my left front tire.. and if it would of blown I could of been in a serious accident. Im still a little shaking about wanting to drive it. But im sure in a day or so I will be ok.

I just think its so strange how things can happen like what happened to you and I. Def. someone is watching over us! [Wink]

Too often amazing things happen to people and they are rationalized away as having been just a stroke of fortune, or lucky break.

Stay aware of the total world around you, and you'll live life fuller than many who get bogged down in a daily routine.

I'm happy for you & your mom. I do believe our loved ones try to exspress thier love for us, just as we often do with our thoughts and prayers for them. =)

That's great, Lil Spookie! =) Sometimes things like this are rather hard for us to believe, but they do happen and there is no logical explanation. It very well may have been your Dad looking out for you..

You know, if you're still feeling unsure about driving it, have the tire center check it out to make certain there are no holes or damage. We like you just the way you are - in one piece! [Wink] No wrecks, please!
