Im in my 30's, married, work as an EMT, and enjoy just about everything about my life; mostly living it with good health.

< Knocking on every piece of wood >

I first got interested in ghost because my sister's house used to have periodic activity; which I've had the displeasure of being scared out of both my wits. I'll write those scary reports sometime. And yes, I was blessed at birth with two wits. [Wink]

My study of spirits began after the death of my brother in 2000, I believe he spent some time at my sister's home sending non-family spirits packing. My brother was always able to "take care" of things. =)

My 3 years old niece had a few visits from my brother after his death in a tragic boating accident. My sister tells of once how my niece was playing on the living room floor and then stop, look upward at someone invisible, and begin having a "yes & no" one-sided communication. She even laughed at something said or done.

Since my niece had never played with an imaginary friend, my sister was shocked when after she asked "who are you talking to", my niece simply said "Uncle Andy" as if my sister was asking a silly question.

When my sister then quickly asked if he was still there, my niece was annoyed and said "No, you made him go away."

The only other really interesting activity, from who I believe to be my brother, is when me and my nephew (17 y.o.) were talking about some funny times involving my brother, when the TV switched from channel 33 to 44. Thinking one of us must be sitting on the remote we stood up to find the remote on the table 3 feet from us. We laughed about it probably being my brother, and then the TV changed again, but from 44 to 22. At that point we were convinced he was there saying hello, and that he remembers those good times also. We then told him how much we missed & loved him.

Things like that ended about 6 months after his death, and my sister's house seems to be completely spirit free.

I'm "siced" to be on the site here, and have enjoyed the wealth of post & information. My involvement into the study/investigation of spirits has been slow, many times I've taken a break from it form months, because many times I've had to deal with, and "make" sence of the many possiblities and issues involved.

Also, In my mind, it sometimes feels like running down an empty hallway with my eyes closed! [Big Grin]

"Hugs"...

Welcome to this comforting little corner of the world...

This is the nicest (and safest) place I've ever found to chat about all those odd questions we have. Sounds like your brother stayed to be certain you all adjusted well and then moved himself on. =)

Right glad that your here, right glad indeed. [Big Grin]
