Well, well, well.... another case of people getting away with stuff when they have money!! Michael Jackson accused again of child molestation. Anyone else, who has been accused of similar actions, are prosecuted, jailed, made to register as Sex Offenders under Megan's Law and stay on that list for 10 years. They cannot move, work, or travel from county to county without registering in every county they go through. Yet, Wacko Jacko has traveled the world, had children of his own, dangled one dangerously over a balcony in Germany, has entertained 100's of children at his Neverland Ranch, and allowed the opportunity to continue "sleeping" with children in his room, and now allegedly molesting another. If it's true, I'm sure there have been more than two, since it has been 10 years since the last accusation. You have to question the "common sense" of the parents of these children!! I know I would not allow my child to stay overnight there, much less sleep with the weirdo. What a shame, such a talented individual can be so warped. He chose an appropriate name for his ranch, since he has Peter Pan syndrome, (never grow up.) But, he is an adult, and now I'm believing he is a pedaphile. If this proves to be true, he should be subject to the same laws and punishments as any other sex offender. Children cannot protect themselves, and it is up to us, as adults in society to keep them as safe as possible. And, if that includes the downfall of Michael Jackson, then so be it. Looking at him with his rotting nose, was bad enough, and now the thought of him getting his jollies with little boys makes me want to puke. Ya know honestly it came as no shock to me today when I saw they had issued a warrent for his arrest for child molestation. The guy has issues and part of me feels badly because people have validated his behaviour and told him it is okay, mainly by allowing him to have these children and the parents of these children who have been allowed to spend the night with him! The man is sick and desperately needs help and definately DOES NOT need to be allowed around children. HIs behaviour is not eccentric it is totally bizarre. I watched the interview with him that was on months back and was amazed at his bizarre behavoir and the fact that no one seems to be perturbed by it. Having money doesn't allow you to act like he does. Having his children don masks to go out and calling the baby Blanket?? I feel so sorry to the child or children from whom these charges stem and I'd personally like to kick their parents. Why on earth would you let your child to be around much less spend the night with someone who settled a lawsuit steming from allegations of molestation??? It never ceases to amaze me what money can do, and basically that's all this boils down to, I hope that he is tried for this and gets the help and punishment that he needs. While I seriously doubt he would ever be able to be a fully functioning healthy member of society, I would love for him to see the error of his ways and is never allowed to be put in the position to hurt a child again.

He won't be prosecuted the way you or I would be prosecuted...meaning aside from the media circus, or because of it & who he is.

The thing is...Neverland ranch is just plain creepy. A grown man with all that money who has spent it in that way...On childrens toys to lure them...Instead of working specifically on childrens charities.

Only a nutjob would leave thier child w/that self created inhuman ET looking piece of plastic in the 1st place!!!

Greed makes me sick! And frankly, if I were a child he would scare me as much as the clowns at PT Barnums did when I was a kid! [Shocked]

Call me a cynic. I wasn't surprised at the new charges but I doubt he will do time. If he doesn't buy his way out of the charges (again), then I wouldn't put it past him to flee the country and live in exile. I hope I'm wrong but I don't think I am. =(

I agree with what has been said. This fellow has had significant issues for years, this is not a surprise. What does surprise me is the people who allow their children to visit this place and be in contact with this man. That is outright insanity. He probably won't do time. I would be willing to bet he'll be whisked away, with his celebrity friends and family crying, "He's just eccentric!"
As I understand it, the child who made the accusations before, refused to testify. If I'm correct, California has changed some of their laws since then, and a child can be forced to testify. There are some pros and cons to that law (if I'm accurate on that), but in this case, it might be what is needed to put Michael Jackson under the jailhouse.

I've been following this.

You're right Carrie (if what I am told is true). The law was changed (after the last accusation) to the effect that once you make the accusation you must follow through. Being paid off no longer works. The other child that made the accusation several years ago was paid off handsomely and they dropped the charges to stem off prosecution. So he was never convicted of anything so he's just as free as you and me (or as much as his money will allow).

This time he must go to court (YAAAHHH!!).

I feel sorry for the guy as much as I can't stand him. He had no childhood. He was forced to be a performer first and human being second. And he has so much power with the incredible wealth he has. That much money would corrupt most people.

Yet he has gone so far. I get the creepy crawlies everytime I see his face.

And I am taking some guilty pleasure in him finally being forced to go to court.
But I don't have faith that he will be prosecuted and sentenced just like those who don't have huge amounts of money. I'm sorry to say that I believe that money does buy justice in our country.

I don't know if he turned himself in yet. I hope he does.

I will pray that if these accusations are true he will finally feel the strength of the law. I don't care who he is, he needs taken off the streets and needs help, if any help could help him after all these years.
Sadly, it just seems the more trouble he gets in he makes money off of it, hence his new cd out.
A pedophile rich or poor is a pedophile and hopefully he won' slip through the cracks this time.
If I were the judge, I would also be taking a very close look at the childs parents who let him go into this mans home unattended.
I find it very hard to feel sorry for any person who commits a crime against a child.
I will agree, he is yet to be found guilty. But looking at his past? Jacksons innocence seems questionable at this point. And I know this sounds harsh, but I hold his parents just as responsible in neglect of the welfare of their child.
And most importantly, I sure hope the almighty dollar doesn't cover this up. The truth shoud come out. Once and for all in his case.
All I know is one of my sons wouldn't have ever spent the night or day at his Neverland Ranch, I don't care who he may be!

I agree Peg, I would also be looking at the parents who let their kids visit Neverland. No parent in their right mind would put their child in a situation as potentially harmful as that.
I'm wondering what will happen with his three children. I doubt those babies have lived very pleasant lives. I think the first two were carried by the woman he "married" after Lisa Marie Presley. I wonder if she would get custody of them, or was she payed off enough to get completely out of the picture? Would a judge give them to a member of the Jackson family? I can't think of any of them I would consider a sane individual -- they all seem pretty messed up to me. Yuck! Talk about a mess for some judge to sort through!

I have heard that the parents of the child have had negotiations with the same lawyer that created the settlement with the first child. That this case came to light because a therapist had to report what he heard during sessions.

I am not sure how I feel about a child being forced to testify, but I am **** sure how I feel about parents sending their child to stay in a questionable environment and then attempting to profit from this.

They are no better then pimps! [Mad]

Don't you find it amazing that he gets in trouble every time a new CD comes out!??! My sister, who is a criminologist, stands behind him 100%. She feels that anyone who can say that they only slept in the same bed can only be coming from a young, undeveloped, but not perverted mind. Yes, I really do believe he needs LOTS of help...and what about his own children?? Where and how will they get the help needed? Yes, their mother was bought off and will not step forward. Wondering what's happening now?? Has anyone heard anything more??

LOL, Hallowseve, my family and friends can all tell you I never have an opinion.

Seriously, Moon Child, Michael has problems, and while he truly believes he is not harming the children, he is causing them great damage. It is very heart breaking for all including Michael cause he just does not get it!

The parents I was referring to are the parents of children allowed to sleep over. They hear the rumors (where there is smoke there is fire) and yet they choose to allow unsupervised sleep overs. Then they turn around and try to collect on their bad judgement.

As for this coming up everytime he has a new album? Who knows, not sure what the benefit to anyone would be.

If Jacko is guilty he should receive very long prison time. This to set an example that the rich and famous are not above the law and to receive no special consideration as well as to the nature of the crime. It was known that he held sleepovers on his estate. That doesn't throw up a red flag to the parents of these kids beforehand?

Ghostdancer,
I wonder all the time where some parents heads are, evidently stuck in the sand? In this case looking for notoriety and fame? Or according to Geragos, money.
I agree Jacko is weird, but he needs his day in court. And Geragos is so outrageous he manages to get guilty people off, if what I beleive his track record looks like.
But give Jacko his day in court, I still like to think in this country your innocent until proven guilty.
But I am still mad at the parents that let their children even go there since the allegations in 1993 and mostly because Jacko def ain't all there?
Parents have a responsibilty to keep their children safe from as much as humanly possible and if this mother knowingly put her son in this situation for her own gain of trips and gifts........she ought to be on trial as well.
Geeze my kids swore I had ESP when they were growing up and its called PARENTING ????

Moon Child... I had to reply to your response... I think the fact that they are saying this happens everytime Michael Jackson releases a new cd, is just another bit of defense propaganda. Jackson hired Mark Geragos back in February 2003, long before this all came out. He all ready had "wind" that this was coming. He has always been a beloved performer until the allegations 10 yrs ago. For him to make it seem like the world is out to "get" him is ridiculous. It's just a smokescreen, and Geragos is as good as Johnny Cochran is at creating those. I have a major in behavioral sciences, and have to say that I disagree heartily with your sister's opinion that he is just immature and not of a perverted mind. A lot of people are immature and not perverted; however, most perverts are emotionally immature (pedophiles in particular.) That's the very reason they resort to children for their sense of self-worth as well as emotional and sexual gratification. They cannot really relate to other adults on many levels. When you look at the whole picture, all of the bizarre behavior this man has demonstrated, his childhood, and so forth... he pretty much fits the profile of a pedophile. There's no mistaking that fact. And no matter who you are, or how to look at it... it is way beyond being just "immature" when a 40+ year-old man sleeps with other people's children in his bed and calls it a "beautiful thing." He stated that out-right, because too many people can testify to the fact that he has done that. By admitting that much, he is, in a manner of speaking (covering his azz.) He could show his love for children in a lot of other "healthy" ways. Right is right and wrong is wrong... and that's not only wrong, it's perverted. [Sigh] (no offense is meant to you or sister, I just have to disagree on this one.)

Hallow,
The more I hear about this on television the madder I get.
I hear that the laws have changed and he can't buy his way out this time. I hope not, truly hope not.
But, I am still angry with the mother of this child. I just cannot state that enough!
I know I keep repeating myself, but you hear it and read it all day long ya' know?

Sherman, I'm not so sure Michael Jackson isn't from another world. [Nutty]
What really gets me, and I saw Geragos doing this with the Laci Peterson case; is all of the media leeks to paint his client in a more becoming light by damaging the credibility of the accuser.
I don't doubt this child's mother is a money hungry low life who jeopardized her child's safety. What burns me, is the CNN headlines of "Accuser's home was torn apart by violence..." "Accuser and his mother praised Jackson's friendship..."
Does the fact that this child's homelife was Hades make his accusations any less valid? How many children who are molested are tricked into a "friendship" with a pedophile that even parents don't think anything of at first. Granted, in the case of Jackson, it would take an utter moron to think his interest in your child was purely innocent and the mother may have also been from another planet not to have realized this. I'm just sick of slimeball lawyers (and I've got some in my family) discrediting the victim or their families through the media.
