hi everyone, just the other day i was driving around when all of a sudden i heard these small bells ringing in my car, i turned down my radio to make sure it wasnt that. the ringing came right from my dash board area, and it was NOT the radio. it sounded like a few small bells ringing,
my first thought was an angel got its wings [Big Grin] , but, ive never had that happen before and the bells ringing was so distinct. has anyone else had this happen to them, i felt i was supposed to hear them ringing. thanks, michele

I'm one of those folks who always looks for a logical reason behind odd things that happen. How is your blood pressure? The reason I ask, is that I taught a young man one time who had high blood pressure and occasionally heard ringing sounds as a result. It wouldn't hurt to get it checked just to rule it out.
On the other hand, it may well have been something you were supposed to hear. A year or so ago, my husband and I were driving through a neighboring small town very early in the morning. It was around the courthouse square, and the streets were deserted -- not even another car in sight. We distinctly heard a woman's voice from what we thought was the backseat saying "Please help me!" We drove around trying to find one of those logical explanations, but never could. Those bells may have very well signified something for you. [Wink]

One other logical thing to check is to make sure all the doors are closed. I had that happen once. The side door on my Caravan was closed enough that the dome light was not on and it was closed enough that the bells in the dash would not go off when I put the van in drive but when I was on the highway making just the right move in turning the curve (what ever puts pressure on the door), the bells in the dash would sound to indicate an open door.

Hi everyone,
I am sometimes skeptical and look for other reasons. I have to share this one.
I was getting a ringing in my ear badly. It didn't sound like a jingle bell, but rang.
It got worse and worse, until one day when I blew my nose at work, someone else heard it? (this is not a joke!)
So, I went to the doctor and told him that I had been hearing a ring-a-ling in my ear for a month. He took a syringe full of warm water and held my head over a stainless steel bowl. Out popped a tiny peice of hardened ear wax, he said was acting like some kind of a whistle jumbling around down in my inner ear? LOL
Sometimes there are answers for things, and sometimes not?
Hugs

hi everyone, thanks for your replys. my blood pressure is good, as for i check it regularly because i work in a doctors office.. it was very weird, after turning the radio off i could distinctly here the ringing right in front of me, hard to explain, but the ringing was in one certain area, like focused right in front of me. i dont have any warning bells for the doors unforntunatly. this was in one little area right in front of me, again hard to explain, but the sound was not in my ears, the sound was distinctly in front of me. it was odd, but i only had very good vibrations from it.

As always, look for the mundane reasoning first. You did that. But don't discount that it may have been something you didn't figure out.

It is possible that you were getting a message from someone. Sometimes we get these little messages that don't seem to mean much at the time but later they trigger something else. It may have been someone just saying I love you using the ringing noise to get your attention.
It may also have been someone who loves you thinking about you and you heard/felt what they sent. It may not happen at the time they are sending it. It may 'hit' you much later.
It may also be something someone you care about was experiencing. Once, on a hike, I had the distinct taste of mashed potatoes and gravy in my mouth. It was just like I had just eaten some. At that same time, over in Italy, one of my brothers was eating his Thanksgiving meal with some friends (I found out later).

It's strange what we can pick up and what is sent to us. Some you'll put together and other's you won't till your time here is done.

If I were you I would keep my ears open for something in the future to tie into this.

And maybe an angel just got their wings. At Hooters. [Eek Smile]

At one time in my life someone was about to do me wrong.I came home that afternoon to my home, opened the door ,walked in,and immedeately smelled fresh pipe tobacco right under my nose as if someone opened a fresh bag.I thought someone had gotten into my house.I walked around my house ,but nothing! Then,as if lead there, I walked over to a doe-box end table, opened the top,and there ,on top of everything, was a picture of my father when he was a young man back in the thirties, holding a pipe, in his right hand!!!!! the next day -it all hit the fan. A warning you say? I beleave so.

Perhaps a warning from the wee folk? [No Smile] I've heard they use bells...??? Never saw one myself. [Sigh] You said you got good vibes? Maybe a little Christmas magic then? Well, just take good care of yourself & let us know if you figure it out. [Rainbow Smiley]
