You know how you hear a song and then it sticks with you all day. You catch yourself humming it, can't get the tune out. I know that happens to everybody but I had something a bit different happen to me. 5:30 this morning at work, out of nowhere, this song starts going through my head. I haven't heard it in ages. It's an older country song. Don't know the title but I believe Waylan Jennings sings it? Not even sure of the words but I kept humming the tune for hours. I never even listend to his music much so that seems strange to me. Now it's driving me crazy trying to remember what the name of it is. Anybody know some of his songs to help me figure this out?

Yeah I know Connie =) It was driving me crazy so I decided to look it up myself. The song is by Waylan Jennings. Its called Amanda. It was just odd because I havent heard it for years. Anybody else ever do that before?

I'm laughing at you Hallows... but I may have something just as bad... I was in bed trying desperately to sleep a few nights ago, and what was stuck in my head? That song from Jeopardy, the game show. You know, the music they play when waiting for the final answer to the last big question? "Ding ding ding ding, ding ding ding, ding ding ding, ding Ding, lalalalala" (repeat 7 dings) and the last part sounds like the end of I'm A Little Teacup, ("tip me over and pour me out.") Ohhhhh why did I think of that, I know what's going to be on my mind now the rest of the day.

When Jen was little she loved that horrid purple dinosaur and I remember that theme song getting stuck in my head for days! Now that's torture

Whenever I get a stupid song stuck in my head, my husband always makes me sing Bye Bye Miss American Pie from start to finish. It works every time. By the end of that melodic epic, I can't even remember my name.
BTW, Cindy-we went through the purple dinosaur thing, too. Now, Emily's 14 and that is a verboten subject in our house.
