Thank you all for your kind words and guidance. As I read your words of wisdom and compassion, I am moved to tears once again. I have spent the most of my days alone in my bed, my thoughts are consumed, my heart in broken. In the wee hours of night when I cannot sleep, I read your posts and they give me great comfort. I know that time is my only friend right now and there will come a time when I can think of her and smile again. Her Celebration of Life is this saturday, so my visits here are short for now as there is so many things to do. Today I am going to a greenhouse and preparing flower seeds wrapped in silk and ribbon that I can share with all her mourners that will be attending the service. I want them to have something to plant in there gardens that will return each year that is a living memory of a beautiful women. I would like to attach a short phrase that will embody its meaning....if anyone has any sugguestions, I would gladly accept them all. Much love and God Bless you all.

What a beautiful idea.

I'm not much with words but here goes -

My beautiful Mother is gone from my sight.
But with each tiny breeze her soul takes flight.
Plant these seeds when spring winds blow.
Remember Mom fondly when they grow.

You're very welcome, Eyesee. ::hugs::

I agree with Connie - that is a beautiful idea. My thinker isn't hitting on all cylinders right now, so this isn't really complete in thought, but it may be a springboard for something else. BTW, I really like what Connie wrote.

To know Mother, is to love her.
To plant her seeds, her spirit lives on.

or

Plant these seeds in (Mom's name) memory;
Live on, beloved one...

If I think of anything brilliant, I'll be sure to post it for you.

You are very welcome Eyesee. =)

I think that is such a beautiful idea to hand out flower seeds. What a great way to have your Mother remembered. As far as a saying to put on the packets, I'm afraid that I'm having trouble coming up with anything at the moment. I think that what both Connie and Kell posted is beautiful and would be very fitting. If I think of anything I'll post it but I'd be hard pressed to top what the two of them have come up with.

Hello Eyesee... I'm so glad you take comfort in the people here in SpiritKeep. They're all a wonderful group of people. I think Connie and Kell's words are beautiful. I don't think I can top those, but I wanted to write something for you too. Whatever you choose will be the right thing. And your idea of giving out the seeds for planting is great. What a meaningful way to help everyone remember her.

Remember her laughter, her kindness and grace,
Remember each time she brought a smile to your face,
Sow the seeds in the springtime, and flowers appear,
And know that my loved one, forever is near.
