Hi, I'm new to this site and just thought that I would introduce myself. I'm from pittsburgh pa and live in a haunted house. I was researching the ghost and was led to this site. It seems really cool and informing so I thought I would join.

I'm looking forward to getting to know you better. We're all a bunch of really neat people fron all over the world and we like to talk about a lot of really neat things.....jump right in and don't be shy =)

I'm VERY curious about your haunted house and what your research has uncovered....do tell?!

I live in an old mansion that was part of the underground railroad. It's haunted by 2 men ,1 woman, and a little girl. My research really hasn't led to anything except the name of one of the men. We figure that everyone is related because it was a family home untill about 8 years ago. Most of the ghosts are really nice and the little girl would "play" with my neice when she lived with me. Our basement is really scary and gives me and another tennent nightmares. We went through 3 roommates because they were too scared to live there. I have 6 cats and they all freak out whenever anyone goes to the basement, ie not letting us down the stairs, chasing us back upstairs. It's funny because that is the only time all the cats get along. With the exception of the nightmares its fun living there. Oh yeah, the ghosts don't like religious symbols. I'm wiccan and my roommates are christian and whenever they put up a cross or I fix my alter it gets trashed.We quit trying to display religious items, we figure if they don't want them who are we to force it on them. They have lived there longer than us. Enough about the house, I'm looking forward to meeting people here. I have never really used message boards until recently so am unsure of what to do with etiquette and such.So fogive me if I blunder it up or sound like I'm rambling.

Your house sounds interesting! If you plan to add more to that, you'll want to post about it in the Ghosts & Spirits forum so that it will be more visible to everyone.
