The books are good for signs that have a w i d e window before they change like sun signs and moon signs. For the others, books can be confusing especially the charts. I have put in hours only to discover that my horoscope would be accurate only if I were living in Europe or Australia.
I'm not quite adept enough at the math to be able to convert to
my particular lattitude/longitude. So I cheated...
I went to Best Buy and picked up some
Snap software. It's called
Horoscope Interpreter . I caught it on sale to boot so it cost less than $5 (usually runs around $9). It's dead easy and leads you by the hand working everything out. THEN you can go to the books with your chart already in hand and get more in depth info on what all those little squiggles mean.
Keep in mind astrology is NOT etched in stone. So when you read something like someone with your particular sign should not possibly be able to tolerate someone with your partner's sign, it doesn't mean the relationship is impossible. It just means you have issues and different ways of looking at/reacting to things that you will have to work through. DUH, as if relationships weren't like that anyway...
