In the early 90's I told people that they would see many more cases of reincarnation like my own. I have been contacted by a lot of people with simular stories. Some want to remain obscure while others are attempting to bring their story to light. One such person is Cyndy (Cynthia Leah Wilson) and her website can be found at;

She is a sweet girl and has found it rough going trying to relate her tale to those around her. If any of you understand what she is going through and have the time to stop by her site and give her a few words of encouragement I know it will do her a world of good. Her email address is on her homepage.

For those of you that are interested, I have been invited to be on the "Meet the Authors" panel at the IARRT Conference to be held in Colorado Springs in July. (See link below)

http://www.iarrt.org/conference.html[/URL]

This panel will be the first time I will get to meet two of the gentlemen I wrote about in my book Someone Else's Yesterday. One is author Bill Barnes who believes he was Tommy Andrews, the builder of the oceanliner Titanic, the other is Capt. Snow from the Indianapolis Police who found a past life through a dare and ended up writing a story of his adventure. capt. Snow's book is titled Looking For Carroll Beckwith. I have talked to both on the phone and we email each other but there is nothing like a face to face chat. I will also get to see my friend Dr. Walter Semkiw (John Adams) who will be the moderator for the panel.

For those of you who have not read my book yet, my past-life personage is Confederate Gen. John B. Gordon. I make it clear in my story that I don't believe in coincidence. One last thing, I live in Trumbull, Connecticut. Now that you are armed with these facts will tell of some recent events. My wife Anna's friend Wanda works at our Dentist's office.She called the other day with news for me. One of the patients there just came back from a family reunion down south and informed her that she found out she is related to a famous Civil War general. Want to guess which general? You got it, old John B. Gordon. She is Gordon's G/G/G/ Granddaughter. She lives here in Trumbull and works in a store in Westport (where I was on the Fire Dept. for 35 years). She called me the other night. She is nice lady with a good sense of humor. She is reading my book now and will get in touch with me after she is finished. I have net and corresponded with a few of Gordon's relatives but never would have thought that one would show up so close to home. What are the odds???
Best, Jeff

I dont believe in these coincidences. I think they mean something more. I am originally from Connecticut. In fact my roomate at UConn was from Trumball.
I too served in the South during the Civil War. I was a marksman at Gettysburg among other battles from that tragic war. I definately believe in reincarnation. I have had so many experiences after my present discharge from the armed forces. I havehad very vivid visions in real time of past battles. I discovered it by accident, but I still do not believe in coincidences. I am not familiar with that general from the CSA. Was he at Gettysburg?
Thanx;
Tom

Jeff, that is exciting news about Gordon's ggg-granddaughter living there in CT with you! It surely makes you want to say 'what a coincidence', but somehow I don't think so! I'm glad you two are corresponding. It's like almost being related to someone. [Big Grin]

I'm also really excited for you and the upcoming IARRT Conference. I'd love to go! Not sure if that will work out, but I'll keep it in mind. [Wink] I know you're going to have a great time meeting everyone...

I'm looking at Cyndy's site right now. I'm glossing over all of it... thanks for sharing it! I'll write her a line if I think my words will help. [Wink]

Tom, we'd love to hear more about your past life memories, if you'd like to share. Feel free to start a new thread for it. =) And BTW, Jeffrey's website about his book is: http://www.confederateyankee.net/[/URL] -- check it out, it's a great book!
