I was attending a class on Ancient Greek Political Theory. The prof assigned to the students to read any part of Aeschylus' Agamemnon the previous class. I read the whole play that night of the assignment, and decided to read The Herald's speech. I volunteered to read first. Boy that was a mistake. Halfway through the speech, I went back to the Battle of Marathon in real time. When I finished the speech, I came back to the present in the class. The whole class was bawling including the Prof. I got up and left the class to smoke a cigarette. I never went back to the class. Funny, I still communicate with that Prof. on a regular basis via email. He was educated at Cal Berkeley, and never believed in the paranormal until that day when I went back to the Battle of Marathon in his class. I do not believe in accidents or coincidences. Since then I have been on a lot of battlefields throughout man's history. One can go crazy trying to find meaning in this ability of mine. Any suggestions?
Thanx;
Tom

I have a couple questions. Can you go to these places at will? Also is it only battles that you find yourself in?

I agree with you on there being no accidents or coincidences so there must be a reason, finding it, obviously is the hardest thing.

Can you explain what happens when you are there? Do you interact with anybody? This is definately interesting. I'd like to hear more!

Tom, you seem to be a very sensitive and gifted psychic. I hope that it is more of a gift than a curse for you, but going back to traumatic times in history with the impact and clarity that you seem to be describing, I could see where it might be something that is hard to deal with at times. I get the sense that you are an 'old soul', and having 'been here' many times has given you an incredible sensitivity. Were you involved in the Battle of Marathon, or simply 'viewing it' from above? If you were in the battle, did you die or suffer serious wounds there? Were you Greek, or Persian? Did you get involved in the battle on land, sea or both?

For anyone not familiar with the Battle of Marathon, here is a quick synopsis:

Very interesting, Tom... thanks for sharing this with us.

Tom, I can't offer any suggestions, but your post brought something to mind that my father told me about.
My father was in WWII, and served in several capacities. At one point, he was one of General Patton's motorcycle escorts. On one occasion, he witnessed General Patton reliving a Roman battle (I'm not sure of the location). Dad always said that Patton had a reputation for being loony, but this was a legitimate phenomenon. Dad never went into detail about what happened, but he did say that Patton gave accounts that no one could have given unless they had actually been there. If you asked my father if he believed in psychic phenomenon, he would have probably said no; except for his grandmother and General George Patton.
That is an amazing story, and I would love to hear more.
