Hello people!
There’s something I’ve been thinking about, and I wanted to share with you, and perhaps you’ve had similar experiences.
Have you ever felt, all the sudden, that it all makes sense? I mean everything suddenly being revealed to you in just a flash, and then it’s gone. I’ve experienced it twice. The first time was in a math class. For a second, for no apparent reason, I saw how the entire universe worked and was connected! Sounds weird, but that’s how it felt! Then it disappeared, and I still couldn’t figure out that **** algebra-problem… The second time was during a chemistry-lesson. For one second I suddenly realized why chemistry is so incredibly interesting and important. Doesn’t sound that increadible, but normally I really hate chemistry. But for that second I saw how it was connected with everything around us. Then the feeling disappeared and I spent the rest of the hour trying desperately to get interested in that horrible lab…The insight never came back.

Is this anything you recognize? I would be happy to hear that someone else has experienced that same sudden insight into the universe, that is so wonderful but so hard to remember.

And if anyone had a tip on how to get back the memory of it I’d be grateful… =)

Hugs

Hi Wilhelmina,

What you had is know as an epiphany, they come in “Big” and “small”. Sound like you had a couple “Big” ones. Consider yourself very lucky, most people never have one and you not only had it happen once but twice. I had one (once) and like you tried to hang on to the information but seeing how we are working under a handicap (using our human brains) it did not last. Consider it a reminder of who and what you are. If you like, you could try meditation. Find what works best for you. You can ask to have another and who knows, it may work. Many time people who have had NDE (near death experience) report becoming possessed of greater knowledge upon their return.

Best, Jeff

Yes, I too have had that happen a few times, and it would absolutly drive me crazy afterward trying to remember. My trying to remember seemed to force it away, like a waking dream your trying to remember.

Hi ~

This has happened to me too. It happened once when I was about 16-17 yrs. old and I was just waking up from a dream and felt I had the key to life! It Was wonderful, but like you said it only lasted a few seconds after I woke up. Glad to know this has happened to other people besides myself! Madammacabre

One of the ways I have found to get it back is to sit in meditation. There is something about that silent place that allows more info to enter. Of course, it may not be the same as the first time, and yet you may be able to capture something that you can hold on to. Mediation?? Quiet, silent time where you can not be disturbed. Clear your mind, let go, and enjoy! =)
Another thing that works is to try to replicate the experience in Dream Time, when you are able to go beyond the mind. Repeat 9 times, just before falling asleep, something like 'I want to remember that feeling'...or 'I can remember the information that was given to me before'. Remember to keep a pencil and paper beside you bed!
