Hey everybody, long time no see. I've been really busy latley so I havent been posting or reading the board. Anyways, a while back I had a very creepy encounter with a very scary lady (not the Mujina aka faceless ghost I talked about). Peg might remember, she helped me through that night. As I was getting up to date I checked out a few posts about ghosts being attached to antiques I remembered the night and something else. There used to be a picture in my room. It was a portrait of a lady in a white dress but you couldn't see her face (sort of like The Ring). The Picture always frightened me and I had it put away as soon as I moved into the room, The night peg helped she told me to grab a bible (I kept one in my bag which I leave in the hallway.) I heard footstep leaving my room (which had nobody in it) and I followed gut instinct and turned on the light in the hall, grabbed my bag and literally ran out the hell out. When I looked back to my room I the face of a woman in a white dress. She looked, well, dead. Her expression was blank, pale (I mean dead kind pale) skin, black hair, and blank white eyes (I didn't see any pupils). She just seemed, evil simply put. I could feel her anger and she would stom around in my room letting me know I pissed her off. Then all off a sudden the sensation stopped, a gust of wind went past me and peace was restored. I think the lady I saw and the lady in the portrait was the same, any ideas? I sleep in that room I want to know.

If I was you ... I wouldn't ... couldn't sleep in that room.. and maybe she is telling you that you shouldn't sleep in that room... and put her pic back up ... so she won't be so mad at you. That is probably what triggered the event you just described.. just my two cents

I think Alan may be onto something. If she continues to pace the room and show her anger I would be sleeping else where. You mentioned the gust of wind and then peace restored. Does that mean all has been quiet since? If so there is also the chance that by removing the photo you were removing her and she wanted to let you know how ticked she was about it before departing?

I have read/heard that the best thing you can do is get rid of the item/antique that you feel is the source of activity as whoever came with it will also go. Where is that picture now?

Hi Obake and everyone!
Yes, I remember that night emailing back and forth well Obake. But you did well, didn't you?
First off, why was her picture in your bedroom in your parents home and do they know who she is?
Did it come with the house? Reason I ask that is my cousin actually did end up with a picture like that a long time ago. She ended up just hanging it in the dining-room and everyone seemed happy with that, if you know what I mean.
So, what have you been up to. I am sure quite alot!
I like you haven't been around much lately either. I hope to change that. Drop me a line.
Hugs,
Piggerita

Wow, sounds like you had an eventful night. I have some questions as well. First, did the pic come with the house? And if so does anyone know who it is? Second, I dont think you should give up your room, I mean if you do then whats next, what if she decides she wants the whole house? I would first do a protection prayer and then ask her what she wants. Explain that this is your room now and you will put the painting somewhere else, she is free to share the space with you as long as she doesnt cause any trouble but that you are not leaving and she just has to accept that.

Ever since that night I haven't seen her or sensed her. Sure I sense "things" but since when have I not lol. Here's the thing though. Nobody knows who was in the picture or where the picture has gone. It's seemed to have vanished. There are some things better left unpersued and I just feel that this is one of em.

Obake, I'm curious... Is this picture a painting or a print? Not that it really makes much difference, but keep in mind that artists put a lot of their own spirit into their work. If this was an actual painting, I wonder if the artist may have conjured up something nasty that is now attached to it.
This thing doesn't sound pleasant, and you may be right... this may be a case of something that needs to be left alone.
If it happens again, I would suggest getting your parents to help you in some research of this painting and the artist.
