Hi,

Does anyone know of any reported hauntings/spirit presences at a place called "Camp Conrad Weiser". I believe this is/was a summer camp built on the site of an old indian burial ground. I have a tale relating to this location from a friend who spent a summer there a few years ago. I shall post it in the near future, but I wanted to see if there were any other reported occurrences with may mirror the encounter I was told about.

Without even hearing the ghost story yet something already is setting off alarm bells in me... Conrad Weiser was a diplomat that worked with the Indians in Eastern Pennsylvania and was considered to be a friend of the Indians. His homestead and camp are located between Womelsdorf and Wernersville which is in Berks County Pennsylvania. A man who had the love and respect for the Indians that this man had would never have placed his Homestead on an Indian burial ground. Those places were considered very sacred to the Indians. I'm still interested in hearing the story though, anything pertaining to ghost sightings in Berks County is of interest to me.
