Camel Spiders are nasty nasty things.

When I was in Saudi my dad worked on a tank range. A coworker of his was up there too, and he was bitten by a camel spider. I've got pictures of his arm somewhere, I'll see if I can find them to show you all.

His arm was numb and swollen for weeks. The poor guy felt terrible.

So yes, Camel spiders are very real and very dangerous.

Friends of mine who were in Iraq said they used to build rings and fight them. Apparently if you break one of their legs, they fight...I think my friends may be a bit twisted!

OMG! I have never seen a spider this big, and to have 2 hanging on each other OMG! I have a friend who's over in Iraq and OMG will I have to email him and ask him if he's had to fight off spiders rathers than terrorists? Makes you wonder how they got soooo big. I wonder why the US government hadn't warned them about these huge spiders. Do thay have an anti-venom for their numbing like qualities? These are the things we should be concerned with for their safety, and OMG they're *******' Huge! I will promise myself never to visit the desert in Iraq. Gives me the heebie jeebies!

Ok, so apparently they are not spiders. However, they are the nastiest, creepiest things I have ever seen!!! I must admit, and this is not very manly, but I would run and scream like a sissy if one of those got near me !! LOL [Gasp]
