Do we really know for sure. Afterall there is so much paranormal activity out there that never gets officialy recorded. A few good examples on this site alone. Think of some of the tv shows that have done a feature on paranormal that have included situations that is not exampled in any book or on any site (I've tried searching for more info on some of them with no luck). So many people out there never share their experiences for fear of being ridiculed or because they want to forget. Ah but there is also that old adage - proof is in the pudding. Paranormal occurences are not always easy to prove. Just my humble little thoughts.
I don't think they're humble little thoughts, they're intelligent and well presented. I think the list I posted was based on hauntings that are popularly accepted as true. But you're right of course, how do you accurately count something when each individual case may or may not be true? And I myself have never mentioned my brush with the paranormal to anyone. When you think of the number of people like me who don't report things for fear of being ridiculed how can you get an accurate count in any city or town?
Thanks Gyrfalcon =) If you are up to sharing would love to hear about your experiences. The great thing about this site is you can do that without ridicule or judgement. Even if there are opposing views on a topic or an opinion given on someone's experience/questions etc.

That's what I love about this site is that you can share your stories or experiences without worrying about someone being cruel or malicious....just honest to goodness support and different points of view that perhaps alone, you may not have considered!!!!
I agree with Cat...there is so much activity out there no one knows for sure...but yes I have heard being from the south...that Savannah, Georgia is very active in hauntings...I haven't actually taken time to visit there...just passed through...but I would love the chance to go there and see all it has to offer....
