Some time ago I was listening to Moby, from a tape I had just copied from a friend. Then, suddenly, I started hearing voices in the music that definately didn’t belong there. People were talking, and at first I couldn’t make out what they were saying. But then I recognized it. It was an old recording of a radio-play, that was somehow coming through the newer recording. The fun part of this was that there was only a small part of it that came through, and it was the part where the characters in the play found spirit messages on a freshly recorded tape…

Anyway, I found that quite funny

Interesting. I have some songs by Moby in my collection, and he uses samples sometimes, so it could have been part of the song. Or if you used a tape that wasn't new, some of the old recording could have still been there. What song was it on, and how far into the song? If I have it on CD I'd like to give it a listen to see if it's in the original recording.

oh, I know it's part of an old recording and not part of the song. It was just the coincidence with the theme of spirit-messages that I found funny...The characters in the radio-show talking about how they suddenly hear voices coming through on other recordings, as I suddenly hear them...Nothing paranormal, probably, but anyway...
